I visited this place with my friends on a rainy and stormy night. The wholesome food and fast service really came to our rescue. I would definitely recommend trying the Dosas- Mysore Masala, Rava Onion Dosa and Uthappam. The chilly idli was also exceptional. Mango lassi was not very sweet and quite good with a good portion size. Overall the place was very pocket friendly with good and quick service.

I have been to this place and was extremely happy with the food and service . I have been a huge fan of South Indian food . I have been to many restaurants like Chennai dosa , amma kitchen etc . But believe me the food served here was mind blowing . The complete authentic taste of traditional South Indian food . Service was excellent and ambient was calm with sounds of South Indian music which is adding more value to the environment. It felt like I came to right place . I highly recommend this place to visit once and taste the magic of chef who is creating miracle. I can say this place has earned me as a customer and I will be frequent visitor to them . Thanks team for delicious food .

We visited Dosa Village on a Sunday evening with rather sceptical expectations, but I must say we left thoroughly impressed. The restaurant is quite spacious, with plenty of available seating when we arrived. The ambience could do with a bit of improvement, the lighting, furniture colours, and overall dΓ©cor give off a slightly dull, uninviting feel, which at first gave the impression of poor hygiene. However, on closer observation, the tables were clean, and there was no visible mess or stickiness, so I could see the staff were doing their part to keep the space tidy. A special mention to the girl who attended to us, she was incredibly polite, attentive, and down-to-earth, which made a great difference to our dining experience. Now, onto the food: β€’ Mysore Masala Dosa – Absolutely delicious! Without a doubt, this was the best dosa I’ve had since moving to Coventry. β€’ Masala Dosa – Equally tasty, perfectly crisp with well-balanced flavours. β€’ Chicken 65 – Flavours were spot on, although the portion size was a bit small and the pieces were tiny. Still enjoyable. β€’ Kids Dosa – Perfect portion and taste for little ones. β€’ Channa Bhatura – A real standout! I could really feel that authentic North Indian flavour in every bite. The bhatura was light and fluffy, and the channa was rich and perfectly spiced. β€’ Mango Lassi – Refreshing, but slightly average in taste. β€’ Lemon Soda (with salt) – A nice touch, but the salt level was a bit low. Thankfully, I could adjust it myself by adding some. The prices were extremely reasonable, we paid around Β£35 for everything, which I thought was great value. There is limited parking available outside, with space for approximately three cars, but it wasn’t an issue for us at the time. Final thoughts: Despite initial doubts and the need for a bit of refurbishment or repainting or changing the lights, to brighten up the place and enhance its appeal, the food and service more than made up for it. I would happily return and recommend it to others looking for authentic South Indian cuisine in the area. Recommendation to the owners: Consider refreshing the interior with better lighting and a more modern seating arrangement, it would truly elevate the customer experience.

Does Village is definitely underrated restaurant. The food is absolutely delish, authentic and fresh. It's very affordable - you can eat a lot for a small money compared to other Indian restaurants. Good location. I highly recommend this place.

The Recent Experience with Dosa village has been horrible. its both for Dine in and Online Order has become worst customer experience and be cautious to whoever ordering or dinning in. This restaurant needs to be called before arriving if they really serve customers because most of the time the restaurant has changed to party hall without notification OR ANY BANNER FOR OTHER CUSTOMERS . Online orders have been taken then we get a call that no one will be able to deliver and your account gets debited and needs to wait for the credit for many days. ****PLEASE BE VERY CAUSIOUS WHILE ODERING AND DINNING IN*********

Traditional Food - Housewarming - Home delivery I have ordered traditional Telugu vegetarian meal (Pulihora, Burelu, Gutti Vankaya Kura, Bendi fry, Papad...) from Dosa Village. Food got delivered for 25 members on a very short notice (one day). Amazing food. Menu is festive to a particularly high standard. Me and my guests are delighted with the taste of the food. Highly recommended.

Food taste is very good. If you are looking for authentic tamilnadu cuisine, try this place once. Quantity should be improved. Number of service personnel should be increased. 1 guy can't handle the service during peak times.

I will not give you a 5-star rating because there is opportunity for improvement. However, it won't be fair to give you anything less than a 3-star rating. Overall, average. What is good so far is 1. The food was really good and fresh. 2. Service was quick. What needs improvement 1. The atmosphere is very dull, the lighting is bad. Improve the decor. 2. Improvement on cleaning is required. That is the general cleaning of the dining area. 3. Please allow card payments. This is the 21st century. People will not withdraw money just to dine in your restaurant. The notice "cash payment only" is automatically turning down customers.

Disappointing! Ordered a main mutton curry and the quantity was less than a side curry, obviously with very less pieces. Less flesh more bones. This is unacceptable! This place used to be soo good and I used to love the food they make. But now I don't understand what went wrong! I did call the restaurant right away, A person named Karthik answered, said he was the owner, he apologized and said would make up for it the next time instead of sending a new one on the same day!
