Awesome food, ordered for a work event and found them to be really well prepared and organised. Also catered well for both meat eaters and vegetarians. I highly recommend :)

A must when in Coventry! We loved everything about this place - from the homemade ginger beer to the mango salsa to the fall off the bone beef! Bonus - all the meats are halal! Would definitely come here again! Would highly recommend the Big Mac combo! Best Caribbean food I have ever tried! A shout out to Carol for being so attentive - she made the experience even more special by checking in on us and letting us take some of the mango salsa home x

Me and the husband came to check out the new venue and we were not disappointed. Firstly we were met by Carol who made us feel very welcome, explaining the menu choices and being very attentive. Her energy made us feel right at home. Secondly the food was simply delicious. We requested the saltfish fritters as a starter - They were fragrant and tasty. I had the honey jerk salmon with rice and peas and a side of plantain. The salmon was cooked perfectly and was so, so good. The sauce that came with it didn't really taste honey or of jerk, but was sweet and sticky and complimented the salmon well. My husband went for the big man plate, which consisted of mutton, jerk chicken, rice, chips, mac and cheese, plantain, coleslaw and dumplings! He devoured the lot of it - His only comment was that the fries weren't needed on the plate, but each to their own! There wasn't any alcohol available but this didn't concern us as we went to enjoy food rather than caring about alcoholic drinks. We tried their homemade sexy juice and it was everything we had hoped for. I would highly recommend the food to everyone.

It was great to order from Esmie's. I work for a local company and asked if Esmie's could cater for 15. It was not problem, and the purchasing process was straightforward. I was called when they were due to deliver the food, and came on time. The food was delicious, full of flavour and everyone in my office was impressed. I will be sure to use their services in the future. Menu White rice Rice and peas Jerk Chicken Jerk Seitan Steamed veg and Esmie included salad free of charge!

I have been previously been told this restaurant is not so great . But wanting to judge of my own experience I took my mother for a meal . A lovely lady waitress named Hollie recommended I should have the fried fish after telling her im a chef and really fussy. Well every single mouthful was delicious and the cocktail worked lol .
