Worst experience with a finance company. Purchased an Apple Watch through Vitality Health and the finance was with these guys. Direct Debit set up..first month late payment letter with a £25 charge..more than the DD payment! So made additional payment and checked my DD which was all correct. Next month same thing. Every month they CHARGED me a late letter fee for 5 months until I just payed the bloomin thing off...for an EXTRA £125 of letter charges..I complained and only received £50 back. Avoid these guys

I think this company is a scam because in the first step they take the deposit money from your account, then after just a few seconds they falsely reply that unfortunately you sre not eligible, to take loan considering that I paid with my business account which I am sure I have high credit score, if they charge only 100000 people monthly average £500 each person, can you imagine how much money they can have every month without pay any penny interest, and ofcourse they refund mony back to your account after 5 business days but they can work with people mony and earn lots of profit as i told without pay any penny interest.

Novuna’s lending and complaints department is an absolute joke. Their customer service is robotic, cold, and completely devoid of any basic empathy or understanding. Trying to get help from them feels like arguing with a wall — one that sends you copy-paste responses and couldn’t care less about your situation. Their complaints team is particularly useless. They don’t actually resolve anything; they just tick boxes, delay responses, and repeat meaningless phrases like “we understand your frustration” without actually doing a single thing to help. It’s all scripted nonsense, with zero accountability or genuine human concern. Communication is slow, vague, and infuriating. You chase updates for weeks, and when they finally respond, it’s with a half-baked answer that dodges every point you raised. It’s clear they’re trained to protect the company, not support the customer. In short, Novuna has mastered the art of pretending to care while doing absolutely nothing. If you value your time, sanity, or money, avoid this company at all costs. Their so-called “customer care” is a masterclass in how not to treat people.

I wanted to log a complaint but was told there is no such system, instead an internal note will be sent to the complaints team and they will review it in their own time and close it if they don't find it important enough. As a customer, can only wait for a response which can take up to 1 month, and if I don't hear anything back then consider my problem ignored. Horrible process and will avoid dealing with your business in the future

I purchased a wardrobe from Furniture village and Novuna was my credit broker. I must say the service I received was adequate. When you contact their contact centre it's so difficult to get through to an advisor. You could be waiting for up to 45 minutes. The online account to access your information is so difficult to log in to, and So many security questions, it would be easier to get in to fort knox. I received minimum correspondence from them in relation to my agreement either by letters or E-mail. I settled my agreement in October 2024 and they still haven't seen me a letter or an E-mail to inform me my agreement has been settled and my Direct Debit has been cancelled. I've been left feeling disappointed with their service and lack of communication.

Disgusting service, paid the £25 insurance as requested over the phone then they insisted that I pay another £125 to release the loan. I told them that I hadn’t got it and they kept on at me to get it. Kept telling them that I hadn’t and couldn’t get it. I asked for a refund of the £25 and got told this wasn’t possible so I’m going to take it up with my bank and attempt to get it back. Absolute SCAM

Used this company to buy a guitar on finance, (£17 a month direct debit) for the last 8 months they've been mistakenly charging me £40 each month, adding on £23 in late charges. I have the funds in my account, it charges me on the day, so why the late fees? Impossible to get through to anyone.

These people have been holding my funds for approx. 3 months now and despite me making phone calls about 10 times a day and trying to contact them via email, they completely ignore and disregard your problems. Absolutely hopeless! Do not trust this company, they will provide you funds without disclosing to you the true conditions behind each transaction. My brother in law lost approximately £32,000 as a result of their sneaky sales techniques. When trying to contact them regarding this, I was faced with some very rude and dismissive employees who quite frankly couldn't have cared less about my issue. I would advise to utilise a more established brand name for personal finance before getting scammed!
