Amazing traditional fish and chips. I highly recommend! My wife says the taste hasn't changed in 30 years. A great trip down memory lane!

Absolutely lovely staff always chatty and friendly, lovely red head lady is always so warm and kind. Always have a great fish n chips here, never fails to disappoint! No scrimping on the portion sizes either! Plenty of parking and would go here every week if my waist would allow it!

One of the best places around. Always serve Haddock. We call in advance for lightly battered. Ready when we get there. Good Irish spicy curry too Good service. Chatty. Quality fresh fish. Never cheap these days so a treat yet highly recommended. You can also eat in or out or take home. Give it a try.

Food is always over cooked and disappointing. Batter is dark and sticky and the fish is dry. Only redeeming feature is that it’s open later than most fish and chip places.

I had fish, chips and a curry sauce. The fish was really dry, and burnt on the edges; either it was overcooked or had been kept warm for a long time. Very disappointing for how much they charge. The chips were average, had better, had worse.

Went today for fish and chips nothing unusual for me on a Friday only this Friday I left my wallet on a bench outside totally unaware. Had a phone call from police saying that the golden fish handed in to them cards and money intact. So a big thank you to all the staff will be in next Friday.

Often driven by this place on way to Huddersfield. Decided to pop in and order takeaway fish. What a huge disappointment the fish was awful!! Think the oil they fry the fish in, needs changing! Won’t be returning waste of £5.65 !!

I don’t understand all the reviews raving about this place? We thought we would give it a go based on the reviews and we were so disappointed. The chips were undercooked and tasteless, the fish was rubbery, tasteless and the batter tasted burnt and hanging off. Scraps all went in the bin as they tasted burnt also. Portions are also tiny and only come in one size. Service was quick but the food sucked for £15. Will not return unfortunately!
