He is very knowledgeable on West One criteria and products, always takes my calls and if not available, calls back right away. Underwrites cases as quick as he can and is a joy to work cases with.    Thanks to the dedication of Sean Staunton we were able to secure a mortgage for a very deserving person who was in quite a complicated situation. Sean really went above and beyond, contacting us promptly after our inquiries, and continuing to support us with the application even when it was well outwith his purview. We definitely couldn't have done it without him!

   ⭐ Very Disappointing and Unprofessional Experience I would give zero stars if possible. West One Loans has been the most unprofessional and unreliable company I’ve ever dealt with. I applied through a broker and provided every single document they requested — for over four weeks they kept asking for more details, and everything was done properly. My property is worth £350,000, and they offered me a £125,000 loan. Everything seemed to be progressing smoothly, and we were at the final stage. Then, out of nowhere, they informed my broker that they were not proceeding with my case, giving no explanation or reason whatsoever. This was extremely upsetting and disappointing, especially after all the time and effort invested. I would strongly advise others not to apply with West One Loans — very poor communication, no transparency, and a complete waste of time. Not even deserving of a single star.

   Do not use this company! They will charge you for everything small thing. They take so much information down to a £5.00 over drawn transaction on my account asking me how I missed this? And then wanted me to give my ID 2 times even though they had received it the first time. It goes on and on. You would not believe the stupidity of the questions they ask. You have to jump through so many hoops. My property was worth £450k and I only wanted to borrow £127K. You will regret ever engaging with them I really hope this helps someone. I would not even give them one star a very controlling company.

   Absolutely the worse company ever! Avoid like the plague! They are the most incompetent so called lender, they don’t ask the simplest of things at the beginning leave u waiting 6 weeks telling u all is going ok basically….then tell u that they won’t give u a mortgage! The worse time wasters ever! ZERO STARS

   Crocked, not much else I can say. Fail at every hurdle. Not even slightly helpful. Can't even stick to a contract. Lend money only to facilitate crocked property developers. They NEED TO BE INVESTIGATED. #SEND IN THE AUDITORS

   Worst buy-to-let lender i have ever experienced. They offered 75% LTV then back tracked and blamed it on the account manager leaving. Also - extremely slow to communicate.
