We visited on a Saturday night and although there were other large groups besides ours, everything was well organised and staff were friendly. We did not have to wait too long and the food was lovely with good portions. They were also able to sort individual bills for everyone. We all had a good time and would recommend this place. Thank you everyone

I did not have high hopes but that was proved so wrong. Food really nice and good portions. Service good and very organised. Not too long a wait. Prices reasonable. The best stand alone Chinese I have had for years.

Even though there were 15 in our party, the service was timely, efficient and friendly. The main course servings were very generous and great value for money. I had chicken in black bean sauce, which was quite spicy. And the best thing was, there were no hidden charges. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

There's a lot of fire left in the Jade Dragon! We haven't been eating locally very much this year. I guess we've found ourselves spoiled for choice. Oriental titans arrived in the form of The Blue Pavilion, Happy Seasons and KAJI. So we've been further afield really. On a grim Yorkshire night like tonight though. We thought we'd stay local and head over to The Jade Dragon for the first time in years. From the moment we walked in, the warm, friendly service set the tone. Genuine and human making such a refreshing change from clinical icey professionalism. The menu was extensive but not enormous. Varied enough that everyone could find something they fancy for sure. But small enough to give you confidence you're getting a practiced hand. The standout for me was the Mussels in Hot sauce, which struck the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. They were enormous and the dish was so good that I found myself thinking, Why isn’t everyone talking about this place? What makes it even more special is the price it’s incredibly reasonable for the quality of food and service you get. It’s clear this restaurant prioritizes substance over flash, which makes discovering it feel like finding a hidden treasure. If you’re looking for incredible Chinese food that flies under the radar, do yourself a favor and pay this place a visit. It deserves to be on everyone’s list, and I can’t wait to go back! Thank you to all at the Jade Dragon for a lovely meal and a friendly atmosphere. Please get another Christmas C.D though, that Wham! Cover is so depressing.

A beautiful meal as usual. Always a treat to eat in here. Staff are brilliant and can't do enough for you. Food is hands down the best Chinese in pudsey!

Worst chinese I've had in a long time booked table for 8.30pm waited ages for our table service was very slow. Food was poor there was 10 in our party and half of us didn'tike the food. Rice was microwaved and stuck together Blackbean sauce was insipid of colour and glupy. Someone had a satay dish which had an after taste and she couldn't eat it when we complained we where told that different chefs cook differently. Load of twaddle. Left hungry as couldn't eat the main meal. Will not go back again.

It's the only place I can go for as much vegetarian and vegan food as I can eat on a Sunday, and I'm so grateful they offer a separate menu for the veggies. My typical order is veg spring rolls, crispy seaweed, vegetable soup (no mushrooms), stir fried mixed veg (no mushrooms), and sweet and sour tofu, and every time the food is incredible in terms of taste and presentation, and even when I ate them out of their seaweed stock one time, the head chef surprised me with an experimental portion of crispy cabbage and onions which worked REALLY well and I was so grateful he'd put the effort in for me! Another thing is that since I've ended up going almost every other Sunday for the buffet, they can already guess my order which always makes me laugh! There seems to be a fair selection of starters and mains for the meat eaters and the trays are constantly being replenished. The only downside is the buffet desserts, often it's a hit and miss with the selection as it changes every time, but for the price you're charged for the buffet, you can't be expecting amazing desserts if you expect the business to keep running! I'd definitely recommend this place and I'm pretty sure I'll be going to get my fill when I come home from Aus!
