   Great place- food quality is good, price is alright, and service is amazing. Portions of food are also pretty big (besides the pitta bread but it’s super cheap so fine anyway), and the desserts are great value for money. Nice little atmosphere (much nicer once you get upstairs vs seeing the place from outside. Chilled glasses for drinks and a few other little nice touches. Would return if in area and want Greek.

   Fantastic visit to this hidden gem, service was brilliant, food was incredible soo many flavours. We came back from Greece last week and this place genuinely topped some of the food we had there, so authentic. Will definitely be visiting again.

   Our first time at this restaurant and won't be our last. Excellent food, superb service. Fab menu with wide range of food choices and also a cocktail menu. Best Greek food in a long while. We had baked feta, and halloumi with chilli sauce to start, followed by mixed souvlaki, and pork and chicken gyros. Big portions and unfortunately didn't have room for dessert this time. Can definitely recommend this jewel of a restaurant!

   Me and my partner came here last night and what a lovely experience we had. The staff were so nice and the food was bloody beautiful! We had the meat mix sharer for 2 for £35, which was well worth it. We will definitely be coming back with friends.

   Well if you closed your eyes, smelled the delicious food and listened to the music. You could actually be in Greece. We were given a warm welcome by the friendly staff. We had the grill platter for 2, which was a portion generous in flavour and size. The souvlaki, the chops, the sausage all cooked and seasoned to perfection. With dips, salad, chips and sauces. Lovely fairplay, I eat all over the country and this was on a par with the best I've had

   Oh my god, the food here is amazing. The staff are all so kind and sweet, they gave me some cake for my birthday free of charge and played music and wished me a great day. A real sense of appreciation is felt here. I would also say to anyone who eats here come here on an empty stomach cause the portions are large and real good quality. I kid you not, if I could only eat one thing for the rest of my life it would be the halloumi and hummus gyros, an absolute combination.... Get it with the sweet chilli sauce... You'll thank me later. Anyways thank you to lovely staff, you guys deserve it!

   So much more than a take away! Upstairs is a nicely laid out, authentic Mediterranean restaurant with a wide choice of dishes. Portions are generous and great value, but best of all, is the friendly service and ambience.

   My wife and I were spending a few days visiting Saltaire and the Salt Mills and chanced upon Acropolis. We have eaten in restaurants all over the world and many times when holidaying in Greece. This was as good a Greek meal as we have eaten. It was beautifully and freshly cooked. The stuffed pepper starter was memorable. The staff were enterprising and friendly. The restaurant is in a newly refurbished upper floor area, which was spacious and warm. And the price was very competitive. All in all a very good evening out.
