Terrible lady greeted us and inspected our shoes !!! Quite clean actually. It also stank of urine in the foyer. I would probably deal with attitude and smell before worrying about footwear
We enjoyed the tranquil environment and excellent service. The waitress was patient and polite, making our evening truly enjoyable. The food was excellent, tasty, generously portioned, and made with fresh ingredients. The prices were very reasonable.
Could I not give more stars? Whoever you are, wherever you come from, they make you feel like at HOME. Food is great, the service is excellent and the best coleslaw you will ever tray! Definitely a must when you go!
Booked in for Mothering Sunday, the food was fantastic. Despite looking fully booked the service was excellent, never left waiting. All the staff were very friendly and overall a great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend!
Such a lovely little place! We found it by chance as we were staying closeby. We popped in for a quick drink then decided to book for dinner later in the evening, all the staff seemed extremely friendly. On our return later that evening our meal which we received next to no time was delicious. If you are staying nearby we highly recommend visiting. Thank you very much Hogans bar & bistro for making us feel welcome.

Hadn't been here for years, popped in for a breakfast. Super job, if you like a cooked breakfast then you should try it.

Im very sorry to say this restaurant has gone down hill. Service was very slow ( it wasnt even that busy)staff to busy outside on phones. Had nachos they were inedible just solid microwaved hard cheese no flavour to them. Large peice of pate with 2 small bits of bread, never ate just pate before without bread. Chicken wrapped in bacon again covered in the wrong cheese that goes solid very quickly making it inedible yet again. Would of had a desert but after waiting 20 minutes for plates to be removed thought better of it. Real shame this place has gone down hill had been coming here for over 15 years but not again..
Brought my mum here for Mother's Day. The food was outstanding! Staff couldn't do enough for you! It's a lovely little restaurant, I will definitely be returning again. I would also like to add how refreshing it was to see the manager mucking in, you don't normally see that! The team are like a well oiled machine.
