   Had a fantastic meal at Cottingley Diner recently and couldn’t resist trying their classic beans, eggs, and chips. It was comfort food done perfectly. The chips were crisp and golden, the eggs cooked just right with soft yolks, and the beans added a lovely touch of warmth and flavor. Everything came out piping hot and beautifully presented, showing real care in such a simple dish. The portion size was generous, and the service was friendly and welcoming as always. Cottingley Diner really knows how to deliver those traditional favorites that make you feel right at home.

   Ordered a flatcake sandwich and paid to collect while dropping the children and going to work this morning i returned to collect but no flatcake so instead of making the only alternative in standard they made northing leaving me hungry and asking for a full refund

   Used to be lovely here but the last couple of times I’ve been have been such a let down, the contents of the sandwich taste and look so cheap and greasy they’ve gone straight in the bin. Will be boycotting here unfortunately which is a shame because the ladies that run it are lovely

   It's a great little place for a quick bite. It has excellent service and depicts traditional home-style food with the classics. Great coffee, too. Reasonably priced with plenty of veggie options. I'd highly recommend this place.

   Not impressed at all. Went to this place because of the great reviews.... yeah right. All I asked was that the bacon was well done and the egg also. Couldn't even manage that. My bacon was pink. How hard is it to listen to your customer and serve what they ask. One mistake is fine, we are all human, but two mistakes on three sandwiches.. .. useless. Maybe I wouldn't be so harsh if they were busy, but no.. they were serving only me.

   Ordered 4x jacket potatoes - only had 3 which is fine so we swapped one of the orders. When it did turn up, all 3 jacket potatoes were RAW - I called the diner to be told “it’s been in the oven for 3 hours” yeah it might have been, but the oven must have been turned OFF! I then said we’ll it’s completely raw potatoe not just cold, to then be asked “we’ll what do you want me to do” so I asked for different food to turn up but then was told I had to reorder through Uber eats and pay again - obviously wasn’t gonna do that. Then I asked for a refund but was told to contact Uber eats and they would authorise it & suprise suprise I contact Uber And no refund

   Just wanted to give a big shout out to these guys. Having been let down by Uber eats, these guys phoned me up and said they’d deliver my order themselves, no doubt at a financial loss to them. That’s what i call great customer service. The lunch was great, as always. Thank you so much!

   I had a breakfast delivery from here, it arrived early and the quality of the food was excellent. A great choice of ingredients, better than most places I've been to up and down the country, and cooked well. The bacon was fairly well done without request so I imagine crispy would be easy for them. I'd prefer my mushrooms with a darker fry but I forgot to make any special requests so that's my mistake. Hours later I'm still happy that I gave them a try because the food was great.
