Love the Crafty Indian. Great food, great value and something for everyone from meat eaters to vegans. It’s definitely the best curry in Shipley. PLUS a great selection of craft beers, gins and good wine. They are never as busy as they should be and this makes me really sad as they are a restaurant that should be treasured by locals . The family who run it are absolutely lovely too

Really great tasty food. Something for everyone. We had the veggie thali which there was plenty of on the tray. Daughters had chicken biryani and chicken nuggets. Waitress was attentive and very nice. Only us there which was a shame. Toilets clean but restaurant area was a bit chilly when we arrived. Well worth a visit for the food and craft beers.

Always an amazing experience at the craft Indian! The food is delicious and the service is brilliant, they have a great selection of beers available also. Cannot recommend enough! They catered our wedding last month and we received so many comments on how lovely the food was. The service was wonderful and they were very attentive to us and our guests!

Been driving past for years and liked the vibes of the place, finally booked to visit last week and wow! The food is excellent! The staff were so lovely and attentive and a really nice space. The service was so speedy, the prices competitive. We loved every single thing we ordered. A lovely little independent business that deserves more recognition! I will 100% be returning!

We ate at The Crafty Indian tonight and had the Street Thali menu, which was excellent. It was fresh, vibrant, and really good value. The mix of flavours was the best I’ve had in a long time, and everything tasted authentic. The waitress was really attentive and helpful, making the whole experience even better. Definitely recommend, one of the best curries and combinations of dishes we’ve had in ages!

Went on a busy Friday night. Keg beers had no descriptions and waitress didn't know much about them. Food was good, particularly the Dhaba and nan bread. Long wait between first and second courses but quality of food made it worth it. Overall an enjoyable evening.

Hugely disappointed. This is my honest review, I phoned the takeaway to resolve amicably however the owner laughed on the phone. Reasons for low review are below. Travelled 30 mins one way to collect and try for the first time. 1) Asked for a dish 1 very mild curry and this was noted on the order, curry turned out to be extra spicy, the owners wife was cooking that day and I was told by the owner after I had complained that she had seen an Indian name on the order so decided to make it extra spicy, very judgmental and bizarre action to take! Unprofessional! 2) Main dish 2 butter chicken contained two bones in it, owner told me the supplier didn’t debone it correctly. A main such as butter chicken should not contain bones! dangerous when you don’t expect them! 3) Chips were literally wet and soggy Asked for a full refund, rightly so but was offered a free replacement, due to the poor experience was offered a full replacement next week but then owner back tracked and said 50% off instead, I declined rightly so again and said a full refund is what I want, Refused to resolve amicably so I have left this honest review. It is the principle. Please don’t be unprofessional and inconvenience customers like this. I hope you use this feedback to improve your business and take it on.

The food was lovely and well priced. I had the meat thali and really enjoyed what was on the tray. I found the staff a bit unprepared and the beer quite expensive. (£4 for a half pint.) Would go again.

A good range of street food starters, a small selection of main courses and craft beers. The Amritsar fish starter is moist in a light spiced batter. A favourite of mine. Worth a visit.
