On approach for the first time it looks so unkept. The curtain are dirty the windows are dirty and the front is a mess, come on amid keep the front outside as good as the food and you might get more customers
Closed. Not sure. The food is fantastic. Starter. Main. Fresh naan bread. I started going Cafe next door so why not come here. Loved the starter, good to share.
The best curry I ever had in my life and there was super good service all of the food was delicious and it smelt really nice in the restaurant and it was sooo clean and fancy and posh.
Under new ownership and we certainly weren't disappointed. The food was amazing, cooked to perfection and the staff were very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for them. Highly recommend, we will definitely be back
The outside could have a little more tlc being done on the property. The entrance/front door could be more lit and cleared of plants etc, getting a power washer on the entrance area would improve it greatly. The food was good and at a reasonable price, the actual menu was too large physically. It could be done with being smaller and more compact. A suggestion on the drinks menu would be to have a better selection of wine by the glass. There was only one type for both red/white wine. Where there are options to have a bottle, which isn't house wine. Someone who is only having one glass would prefer better options.
Went to Amid Palace for a bank holiday family meal, ordered drinks and food. The starters were served and we got half way through the poppadoms and noticed this fly. We payed for our drinks and it's clear to say, we will not be eating there again.
Good food. Marked down as staff were clearly inexperienced and under staffed when we visited. Young waitress very pleasant but waited 40 mins to place order, wasn’t offered poppadoms which should be pretty standard. Wasn’t offered fresh drinks and had to remind them to give us the bill after they forgot 2mins after asking for it. Service let them down on this occasion. But probably a one off. Enjoyed the fish curry though, it was very good. Bhajis tasted a bit manufactured and reheated, not freshly made.
