   Square 7: A Hidden Gem That Overdelivers We visited Square 7 to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and it turned out to be one of those rare experiences that lingers long after the last bite. Paul—the owner and chef—welcomed us with genuine warmth and quiet pride. Knowing my wife had dietary restrictions, he went out of his way to craft a bespoke three-course meal that was not only safe but absolutely delicious. Every dish reflected his care and culinary skill, from the perfectly cooked steak to a dessert that felt like a personal gift. The service was seamless, striking that rare balance between attentiveness and ease. It wasn’t just a meal; it was a memory. Paul made sure of that.

   A good real food experience for lunch today. Asparagus starter, duck main, seafood main, and apple pie desert were all as they should be. Also, really good to have a fruit cocktail desert for those trying to do healthy eating. We'll be back.

   Easily the best food we had in Warwick. I found this little place by looking around Google maps and was encouraged by others reviews. And they were right!! I honestly can’t believe there weren’t any other customers in for dinner while we were there. We went for dinner for my birthday. The restaurant didn’t even know that and they still went out of their way to provide us a wonderful experience. Staff were attentive, helpful, and were wonderfully engaging with our 2 year old. The owner even gave him a model car he’d been eyeing up in the window! As well as a free bowl of ice cream and bread (as he was hungry before the food came out). On top of all of that, the food was absolutely delectable. We ordered 2 starters, 2 mains, and the crème brûlée and were impressed by each. We also ordered a bottle of wine (one of the cheaper ones but was still alright). While the atmosphere was simple, it felt clean, tidy, and comfortable. They do display artwork for purchase that depicts nude models which wasn’t a problem for us but is perhaps something to consider if bringing older, more aware children. Thanks again to 7 Square for a wonderful dinner!

   This was Christmas Day lunch for just a few diners, which explains the hefty cost, but it was worth every penny. A fantastic meal in a relaxed environment. Service was excellent and the chef was most attentive. Food was brilliant, couldn’t have wished for a better experience. We’ll go out of our way to dine here again.

   A delightful little hideaway. This quaint cafe come restaurant is tucked away in the old square with a fabulous view of St Mary’s Church and fantastic atmosphere and food to match. Coffee and cake or wine and three courses - you’ll love this little gem. Garden space for the summer and even a cellar to hide away in. Parking outside is 2 hours or park in New Street carpark for the evening!
