Myself and a large group of friends had an amazing festive evening at the White Horse, the staff serving were all so friendly and helpful and some great food. Decent range of beers and a couple of very well kept cask ales. Definitely recommended, lovely pub.

I came in today for a casual Christmas Day drink, and after seeing these reviews I have to write something. The customers were appalling, spitting on staffs faces about how their meals hadn’t arrived. I get I didn’t have a meal however, the staff had given up their Christmas Day to cater for your Christmas Day, they are the most lovely staff I’ve never had a bad experience in The White Horse. I think people need to realise they are eating in a pub, you are not going to get 5 star experience. Even though it is just a local pub The White Horse go above and beyond for their customers and unfortunately the day things went wrong, that couldn’t be controlled, was Christmas Day. Things happen, isn’t the end of the world think before your speak to people badly when they have given up their special day to cater for your special day.

We were served by somebody called Jonty who was absolutely amazing. He went out of his way to be hospitable. I wasn’t in particular happy with the cheesecake that I had ordered, but he went out of his way to make sure I got an alternative that I really enjoyed. He truly is an asset to this organisation and I hope he does get recognised for all that he does.

Went on a Sunday. 4 people ordered roast lunch but no condiments! Coop next door??? ie no horseradish sauce, no mustard!!! Not good for something so simple. Staff were lovely and very attentive

Enjoyed the food, nice place. Would recommend burgers, but ask they are cooked to medium rather than well done next time, no choice given when ordering. Will say though it's over priced in general for food, and would put us off coming back. 2 mains, 2 desserts, 4 drinks = £80. Would expect more like around the £65 mark. London prices for beer and wine.

Absolutely the best Sunday Roast I have ever had! The atmosphere and decor is just gorgeous (I love the wallpaper ;-) ) Drew served us and he was just fab, so polite, helpful and friendly.... cannot wait to return! Thank you.

Random stop off at pub driving through Balsall Common. 50% off meal offer for this month. All meals enjoyed. No complaints. Forgot to tip, so sorry! Will return. Dog friendly.

Came for a meal with a friend Tuesday evening, the restaurant was quiet however the food was amazing and the staff were very friendly. The young lad serving us was accommodating despite me being picky with the menu. I will definitely be going here again!

The ambiance was lovely with cozy chairs and pleasant lighting combined with good music. The food was amazing. I tried the steak and it was cooked precisely how I asked, the chicken burger was very tasty accompanied by fresh sweet potato fries and the pizza was very good.
