Despite having specific dietary requirements of not eating onions and/or garlic (religious beliefs), Dosa Mama catered for us. The food was amazing, the service was just as good and everything was very reasonably priced too. I would highly recommend!

We tried the Seragasamba Mutton and Chicken Biriyani today and honestly, it was out of this world! Still hunting through the Oxford dictionary to find the right words to describe how amazing it was. The flavors were so authentic, finger-licking good – exactly like the way we eat back home in India. The vibe is something else – it doesn’t feel like a restaurant at all, but more like being served food at home with so much love. Mrs. Jaya, the boss lady, is just incredible – warm, kind, and full of heart. You can feel the care in every dish. If you want real, soulful food with a homely touch, this is the place. Truly loved it!

We tried the weekend special breakfast (Puri, Vada, Idli, Upma, Kesari Bath,....) along with an extra plate of Puri with Saagu. Only the puri with saagu and the vada tasted fresh. The rest of the weekend special items did not feel fresh and were quite disappointing.

Ordered a non-veg thali here and was disappointed with the taste despite the generous quantity. The chicken and mutton gravies were unexpectedly sweet, and the mutton pieces were quite tough. The yogurt was watery, and the dal lacked flavor. The raita was okayish, but overall, the meal didn't meet expectations. Needs serious improvement in taste and preparation. Giving three stars because breakfast tastes excellent here from my other sources.

This is the best place to eat Indian food in Coventry with good alternatives to British food (they do serve fish pakora similar to fish and chips) The food is aromatic and yummm. I would say its a soul food and one must try it. The people who run this restaurant are warm and kind. This place Earns my highest recommendation. Must try. Being an hardcore foodie Indian in foreign land, it feels like home to eat here.

Small little restaurant. Can eat-in or take-away. I tried the chilli cheese Dosa and it was really nice, however just a touch too many green chillies running all the way through it. Loved the dhar, and chutneys that came with the Dosa.

Visited based on friend suggestion. It’s a small place but we’ll maintained. The menu has list and tried few and felt good. Idly - 3/5 Vada - 5/5 Chicken dosa- 5/5 Andhra spicy chute dosa - 4/5 Gun powder dosa - 4/5 Pineapple Kasari - 3/5 Dadi chai - 3/5 Meter coffee- 3.5/5 Visited again to try other items, tried non veg thali- 2.5/5 (for South Indians) for others it will be good. There will a service charge of 50p. Service was good and friendly owner. Suggest to visit instead of online order.

As a foreigner in Coventry, it is nice to have places where food has plenty of flavour. I have tried other Indian food places in Coventry and this is the best so far. The service was nice, good portions and price. I highly recommend it :)

Very impressed. Food was served fast and hot. Sambar is just lovely, thick and spicy. Idli was soft and fluffy. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu
