We had three dishes, only one was good, the other two tasted like they haven’t been cooked right. We kept hearing shouting from the kitchen, not sure who was being tortured, the service was very polite. Decor in the restaurant needs updating.
Always walked past this place and wondered what it would be like, I’m glad I went in finally. Outstanding service and the food is insane been to many restaurants but this is the best by far.
No alcohol. The ambience is almost non existent and the seating uncomfortable. The service was very warm and friendly but inefficient. Drinks order was bungled and our bhindi bhaji side was missing completely and rushed to the table 5 min later. It was not very good bhindi. The tandoori chicken was nice and only very slightly over done. The lamb biryani really good. Tender lamb and a nice flavoursome mild vegetable curry accomplishment. Naan breads also quite good I wouldn't rush back

Visited for first time . It was really nice food. Was welcomed as we walked in . Staff where very friendly and polite . I would say it has the old school vibe we all remember as kids when we went out for a curry. 5*
Used takeaway service. Food was OK, not best we've had but enjoyed. Service in the restaurant was friendly and efficient. Several people using the venue seemed to be enjoying.
Can't believe how over 200 people have rated this place at 4.7 out of 5. It's average. The madras is watery and lacking authentic ingredients, it was the mildest madras i have ever eaten. Little amount of chicken. The naans are average and dry. We spent over £40 on food and they didn't even throw in any free chutneys with the poppadoms like all other curry houses do. Very stingy/expensive and cutting back on ingredients to make more money. It's not proper indian cooking. Don't get sucked in by the reviews you will be disappointed!
Lovely place. Food was amazing. Staff are great and couldn't do enough for you. Would recommend to everyone to use. Will definitely be using only the ocean in the future. 5*
