I used to come here a lot but I moved away so this was my first visit in maybe a year. In that time I’ve visited a few Desi pubs in Birmingham. The soho, merry made and covered wagon to name just a few. They were good but the shire blew me away with how good the food was. I had the large mixed grill. It came out and from the first bite I could tell it was freshly cooked not reheated like a few places I’ve been to. Tender juicy and perfectly marinated. I can guarantee it won’t be so long until my next visit.

We visited Shire Grill recently and honestly, it was such a fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was the real highlight. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and full of flavour (especially the new himalyan lamb). You can tell they put a lot of care into what they serve. The staff were friendly and attentive in a way that felt natural, not forced. They checked in just enough to make sure everything was perfect. Overall, Shire Grill delivered a memorable experience - fantastic food, warm atmosphere, and great people. It’s the kind of place you immediately want to recommend to others and plan to come back to. Definitely worth a visit!

Had a great night out here with some friends at Abba tribute act with great entertainment, food & service. Delighted to see Nikkie back behind the bar as she is very experienced, goes above & beyond with attention to detail & this drifts down to the other staff who were brilliant (special mention to Kayla who was a little superstar with our table !) lovely atmosphere building up in this pub again!

I’ve been to Shire Grill in Leamington Spa twice now and both times the food was absolutely amazing. For brunch, I tried the pani puri, chole bhature, and aloo parantha — everything was full of flavour and just felt like proper, authentic Indian food. Went back for dinner and had pani puri again (it’s that good), along with veg momos, dal makhni, and garlic naan — no complaints, everything was delicious. The place has a nice vibe with plenty of space to sit indoors or outside. Only downside was the wait — both times it wasn’t busy, but the food still took around 30 minutes to arrive. That said, the quality more than makes up for it. If you’re into real Indian food, Shire Grill is definitely worth a visit.

On holiday and visited as the website made this place look good and the overall review score was high. I should have read the reviews more closely, the restaurant was very cold and lacked any atmosphere, the main food took over an hour to arrive and my meal wasn’t actually what I ordered but I was so hungry I just ate it and we left. My husband enjoyed his meal and the food seemed ok but that didn’t outweigh the disappointing service.

This restaurant is 20mins walk from town center just beside Asda. It has a in-house bar and good sitting space. We ordered Palak paneer, Goan Shire grill fish curry and the Veg sizzler. Loved the fish and Soya tikka were delicious. The palak paneer had the authentic taste of saag.

Genuine curry flavours and constant quality of dishes makes us return again and again to this place! Their vegan curries are top notch, especially the 'soya tikka masala' (not on the menu, but just ask!). Don't forget to try the chilli mogo starter - a healthier starter with lots of punch and tangy taste.
