My first time dining here. I'd emailed ahead asking for information on nut free options as I have a severe nut allergy and carry epipens. I received no response. I made it clear once seated that I couldn't eat nuts. I didn't really feel confident that they understood the seriousness of the situation. The service was pretty slow and yes it was a busy night with lots of people in, but time between courses was quite long. We had to ask twice for second drinks. I believe our request was forgotten. Someone appeared at the table and stated " everything good " and walked away leaving us questioning if that was a question or a statement - either way we had no opportunity to respond before they'd scuttled away. Plates were cleared from the table whilst people were still eating and only five side. plates were provided for six guests.... I wondered on more than one occasion if Jeremy Beadle would approach us with a microphone and camera crew! (Except I know he's dead) Food was nice but I didn't eat much as I wasn't convinced they really appreciated just how dangerous eating nuts could be.... There was no disclaimer for me to sign or anything.... I wouldn't not recommend it but equally not sure I'd be rushing to book a table again. If you have specific dietary requirements I'd consider other eateries first.

Just ate at this restaurant and I cannot praise them enough. They literally go out of their way to please you. The food is absolutely delicious the best rogan josh I've ever tasted. It's my favourite place and we will be booking again. Thank you to all the lovely staff.

Food was ok but wasn't very happy that there are NO prices on the menu which was a alarm bell. They have a takeaway menu but you are told the prices are different eating in which us fine but i like to know. As a vegetarian I'm getting fed up with paying more than a meat dish? Why is this. Way over priced at this place and won't be going again either to any restaurant for an over priced curry. Oh and the service charge already on the bill!

Our favourite Indian ever! We have been going to Raj Rani as a treat for a few years now and every time it doesn’t disappoint. Staff go above and beyond with their service. It’s excellent and food always served very quickly! Presented well and tastes delicious. We even get a baileys on the house at the end of our meal which we always look forward to. Would recommend highly to everyone.

Hadn't booked but they found us a table. The place was very busy but dishes served promptly and were delicious. We ordered too much but were able to take home what we couldn't manage! Well worth seeking out.

The food is great but the waiters are quite noisy and seem to be constantly arguing, I’ve been twice in the last 3 months and seen two waiters swear at the boss and threaten to leave. I wouldn’t call it a relaxing place to eat. We had a table of 8 but we were cramped up right by the door. 5 stars for the food though, it’s a shame because all the noise came from the staff. Beware they add a service charge on at the end which was quite expensive when they’re 8 of you, it would be best to include this in the food so you know exactly what you’re paying. I wouldn’t go again.

The staff is very friendly & welcoming. They provide you with excellent food, very good service & excellent atmosphere. Rajrani has a food hygiene rating of 4stars The decor is very pleasant to the eye. They have privately seated tables in the dungeon as they say, in the basement where you could have a more relax & private dining experience.. I will highly recommend this place if anyone is in the area, to try the food, etc & you should not be disappointed..

Food good plenty of choice with some unusual dishes. The waiters aren't the best though hardly any conversation and they're so miserable didn't make for a nice experience. I'd maybe have a takeaway next time definitely wouldn't eat in again ..what's that added service charge all about it aint America don't mind giving a tip when deserved but not being told to tip
