   Our table was not ready for us at the said time, and even though we had pre ordered they had sold out of some of the starters and mains but told us that we hadn’t ordered what we said we had. No spoons were given with the soup or butter for the bread. Had to ask for glasses for the carafe of water too. We were given extra gravy and condiments as our meals were nearly finished. There were no toilet rolls in the toilets and the hand dryer broke with no paper hand towels in replacement. The bar outside needs to be better restocked too, the poor boy who worked it had to constantly run down to the main building. The young lady who had served us was very polite and tried her very best whilst others had slight attitude. However on a more positive note the food was beautifully cooked and generous portions and whilst the decor and ambiance are fabulous maybe just need to work on the little things.

   The food was well presented and delicious, but we waited nearly two hours from our 7:30pm booking. Our starters arrived around 9:30-9:45pm. Despite prepaid orders, there was a billing mix-up, and staff showed an unfriendly attitude. Overall, the food was good, but the service was disappointing.

   Went to courts for an evening meal. The venue is stunning. Ample parking. We booked in advance with easy online booking. Our table was ready for us when we arrived so we didn’t have to wait. The speed of service was fine. However the food was terrible. The meat was very tough and flavourless. The chips were similar. Overall I would recommend courts if you want to go for a cocktail or a glass of champagne but don’t go for the food or you’ll be disappointed.

   I had an absolutely outstanding experience at Courts in Cardiff. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, elegant, and welcoming. The food was nothing short of exceptional – every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavour. You can really taste the freshness and care put into each plate. A special mention must go to the Head Chef, whose creativity and passion shine through every dish. The team deserves the highest praise – friendly, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to making the evening unforgettable. Courts is more than just a restaurant – it’s an experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for amazing food, impeccable service, and a unique atmosphere in Cardiff. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

   Well, what can one say about this place other than wonderful? The ambience was fantastic and the food was even better. The service was excellent and led by Jack. The whole place has been transformed into luxury. The food is excellent and this place is well worth a visit. If I am going to be critical about the place, which I am about all places I visit and give my review on, is the price of soft drinks, there is expensive and then there is this wonderful restaurant, someone will need to explain how you can charge £4.20 for a Coke. Rum or a pint of lager is only £5, you can save 20p if you prefer Diet Coke at £4, but that in my eyes and my opinion is just a crazy price. Other than the cost of soft drinks the place is fantastic, and you will have a fantastic time with excellent food and great service. I do know that very soon they will be bringing out a new menu and hopefully, they will address the ridiculous prices on soft drinks as it does hinder people who have to drive there or want to take their children and have a family meal out.

   Had a lovely experience in Courts for lunch this Saturday. We were seated upstairs. Courts itself is a beautiful building, tastefully decorated. We had a warm welcome and staff couldn’t do enough for us. The food was lovely and reasonably priced - two courses for £21.95. We chose different options and each dish was just tasty and delicious. We will definitely visit again. Thank you!

   Beautifully restored & decorated listed building with lovely roaring fire and plenty of bar & restaurant space without feeling hemmed in. Service was fantastic & food was lovely. I was totally happy with my choice of starter & main but my friend was disappointed with hers especially for the price paid. We were told we only had the table for 2 hours, yet there were empty tables around us, and in fact no-one came to move us so seemed rather pointless to be told, especially if they didn't actually have full bookings! We also had cocktails in the bar which were lovely but very pricey at £13! Shame as its likely to only be a special occasion place to visit rather than a regular haunt, since we left feeling a little shocked at the size of the bill!

   Nice place for fine dining. The ambience is good. Our server was friendly too! I had a vegan burger and it was delicious unlike vegan burgers served at other restaurants. My parents went for chicken wings, which were meaty and flavourful.

   Great atmosphere, extremely good service. Food tasted fantastic, chicken wings and steak were really good! My wife had a selection of the vegetarian food, vegan vibes burger and broccoli tempura, she too thought the food was great. Excellent selection of rums which is our preferred drinks, so again very happy. Will definitely be returning again, nice to have something decent local to us as well.
