   Definitely would recommend Primo, I love the fact that the menu is simple so it’s easy to choose. The atmosphere is as peaceful even when the tables are close you couldn’t hear others conversations. The service was great no complaints and the lady serving us was lovely and very friendly. Starters were tasty, when for pizza and I was stuffed after 3 slices was gutted that there was no tiramisu left so had the brownie which was out of this world would have liked more cream though but apart from that it was great and I would definitely return

   This was my first visit to Primo Italian, and it was absolutely amazing and it definitely won’t be my last! I’m already looking forward to coming back. The food was outstanding, the atmosphere was cosy and welcoming, and the staff were so friendly and made us feel right at home. There was also a brilliant selection of drinks to choose from. For starters, we had the mozzarella sticks, which were perfectly crispy and came with a delicious dip. We also shared the tomato garlic bread the dough was incredibly fresh and full of flavour. As a vegetarian, I was really pleased to see such a great range of options on the menu. I went for the butternut squash pasta for my main, and it was absolutely delicious — something really special and a nice change from my usual choice of pizza. The dessert menu was lovely too. I had the brownie, which was rich and indulgent, and I’m already planning to try the tiramisu next time! Overall, Primo Italian is a fantastic place for authentic food, warm service, and a great atmosphere. Highly recommend!

   Beautiful interior & atmosphere. The food was incredible, I will be back every week just for the giant mozzarella sticks! Pizza was amazing and the butternut ravioli was the best I’ve ever had! Staff were so friendly and helpful, and the cocktails were fab! 10/10 experience

   Absolutely fantastic experience at the newly refurbished Primo! I visited Primo recently and was so impressed… the new look is stunning: modern, stylish, and full of warmth. The atmosphere is relaxed yet elegant, making it perfect for both a date night or a catch-up with friends. I had the Hot Honey Pizza, which was out of this world….the perfect balance of sweet, spicy, and savoury with that irresistible wood-fired crust. For dessert, I went for the Hazelnut and Orange Tart, and it was divine…rich, nutty, and beautifully balanced with a hint of citrus. The service was friendly and attentive, and you can really feel the care and passion that’s gone into every detail, from the menu to the decor. It’s clear the new owners have brought something special to Huddersfield’s dining scene. If you haven’t been yet, I can’t recommend Primo enough… it’s a must-visit!

   Very disappointed with the food and the service. Calamari was cold and soggy, the lasagne had no texture at all, very much like baby food. My drink glass was collected with no offer to replenish. I was asked before my children had even had their dessert if we were nearly finished as they needed the table. No offer of coffee or dessert. Terrible mother's day experience.

   We had a really lovely pre New Year’s Eve meal here. The waiters were great even though clearly understaffed on a busy evening. My starter was great & son & hubby enjoyed theirs too. Pizza for all of us was maybe a bit heavy on the cheese and could do with a bit more tomato, but it was pretty good. And for a substantial meal for 3 with a couple of glasses of house white & cokes to come in at under £70 felt reasonably priced. I’d recommend.

   I feel like this place must get overlooked a lot, including by me as I’ve lived in Huddersfield nearly my whole life and never tried here. Tonight we decided to try it, we were the only family in the restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing. So so flavourful, beautifully presented and very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back and bringing more people with us.
