We had a great family meal for my daughter's birthday whilst in Stratford. The restaurant was very busy but the staff and service were still excellent. I would definitely recommend booking this place. Don't just show up. It's atmospheric and obviously very popular. We didn't get a picture of the sharing platter we had for starters but that was great as well as all the other food being excellent.

Da Gino si va pianino! Very nice atmosphere - I really like the nonchalant vibe to the place, like you were in southern Italy. That said, the mains took one hour from ordering to serving, and the place wasn't half full. I recommend ordering an excess of starters to avoid range anxiety for the mains! The staff is very nice and friendly - although also challenging. One of our mains came without any sides (while the other two did), and we weren't offered any when ordering. We suggested to the waiter sides should have been offered when the order was taken, but her response was "it's all written in the menu, do you want me to show you?" I like the direct reply and I can read between the lines, but that might not swing with all cultures. Recognizing the kitchen was too busy, the chef said he couldn't make Zabaglione for desert, which I'll have to come back to try as it's one of my favourites. The starter was probably the highlight (Burrata Fritta). Mains were good, but nothing to write home about. Altogether a very nice experience albeit not flawless - but that's what makes life interesting! I will come back.

Lovely restaurant serving the 9 of us delightfully and efficiently - great food, atmosphere and reasonable. Parking nearby. What was most refreshing was we overpaid when we split the bill and they came back to us to return the excess - thank you!

One of the worst dining experiences ever — and shockingly overpriced. We spent over £150 for lunch, and almost every dish tasted and smelled off. • The soup was sour and clearly not fresh. • The sea bass and pasta had a strange, unpleasant smell. • Even the pizza and meat were disappointing and not enjoyable. For this price, we expected authentic, fresh Italian food. Instead, everything was poor quality and felt unsafe to eat. Truly a waste of money — avoid this place.

Best Italian ever! The fresh pasta dishes were delicious as was my starter of crab meat balls and tiramisu dessert. Service absolutely top notch, can not fault the place. Really looking forward to a return visit, I want to try the calamari and a pizza as they all looked equally incredible ! Thank you for such a lovely evening.

Restaurant refused to acknowledge our reservation until proven it was made. Food was really nice and the service was good until we were considering ordering dessert and the waiter said ‘how long are you going to be I need the table’ this is an unacceptable way to treat guests especially when they have spent £££ on dinner and hadn’t exceeded the usual 2 hour time limit on a table. Such a shame I won’t return as the food was good but attitude completely unacceptable.

We were in Stratford-upon-Avon for our wedding anniversary and whilst walking around stumbled upon this absolute gem of an Italian! The meal we had later that evening was absolutely superb, the staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was great. A large menu and not expensive at all for an Italian, if you're in the area and hungry do not hesitate to book!
