   Ordered at 6:55 for 7:30 collection Nd told they couldn’t do it until 7:45, said that was fine and went to collect the food and weren’t even prepping it until 7:45 after being told it would be ready for then!! Not very happy having to wait around!!

   Excepted my order then stated we do not take cards, pointed me to the cash machine which was 20 minutes round trip only to discover that they hadn't even started my order and stated we are exceptionally busy and told me that it would be a 45 minute wait. Decided to detour to Jade Garden who were amazing and even offered a happy ending. Happy days. WOOF.

   I have used Avalons regularly since they opened, food and service has always been excellent. Recently we have noticed a huge decline the food quality we order ( recently very overdone and very dry ). I always collect my order as it works best for me, unfortunately when I arrive at the given time, the food is never ever ready , in fact I usually have to sit waiting for a long time, on occasions it takes over an hour from order to leaving the shop with my food. Maybe the two points above are connected ? it seems the staff are trying to keep too many plates spinning at once, rather than concentrating on their customers by supplying top quality food in a good time. ( certainly under 30 mins when being collected)) . This rating is based on several recent experiences over the last month or so. It does not reflect the high quality this shop is capable of. I hope these issues can be resolved as this used to be the go to place for pizza in town .

   Great food (beef burritos especially recommended - 1 portion enough for 2 people). TIP - do not order online using the app as you’ll go to collect at the time the app tells you and you might be waiting an extra 45 mins (as I was). Just go to the shop or call ahead, the app is useless. The food makes this place worth bothering g with though, despite the app and the wait. Friendly staff too. Enjoy!
