I can’t thank The Wellsprings enough. I was hoping to do something special for someone, and the owner went above and beyond to help make it happen. He was incredibly kind, accommodating, and genuinely eager to help with a special surprise. His thoughtfulness and care made the experience truly unforgettable. Exceptional service like this is rare, and it’s clear the team at The Wellsprings genuinely cares about their customers. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

What a lovely place. It's the first time I've been here for a long time. Probably 15 years or so. I was delighted. A great range of beers, lots of outdoor seating, a couple of terraces and a garden. The staff were all pleasant too. We just popped in for a beer after a walk and ended up staying for two. We intend on eating here now as the food looked incredible. Price of a pint was a little steep at £6.50, but the view was probably worth it. I will return, sooner rather than later.

This place is extraordinary, as for food as well as service. The view is amazing too. Try if you haven't done yet.

We had some really tasty dishes here. The location has fabulous views and outside dining (although we opted to stay in the air conditioned interior as it was 28°c). Good service. Special mention to the excellent guacamole and moreish curly fries.

A pleasant place for a meal. Went on a Wednesday night and still a few people in so some atmosphere. This would be a good place to go in the summer when you could sit outside and really benefit from the fantastic views. The food was tasty and the waiting staff pleasant and welcoming.

What a beautiful setting for a restaurant… the service was good and the menu varied… The kids liked the pizza and the adults enjoyed the Spanish dishes. Only item we had that wasn’t great was the tortilla which I wouldn’t order again…

Liked the ambiance. The restaurant is sitting at the top of the hill. Mind the narrower road and wandering sheep. Pretty views over Clitheroe and surrounding hills.tgeres an ice cream parlour, bar, little charity shop all onsite. Staff pleasant. Clean restaurant and tables. Food - it was ok, we had a sharing platter- beef, calamari, chicken ,prawn & mussles looked better than it tasted, definitely not spicy mexican!!!! Tabasco helped!

Fantastic food and ambience as always. Really great setting for a romantic meal or a family get together.. portions are a good size so be prepared to feel very full which is good considering the great quality of the food. If you go during the daytime the views are amazing. At night it feels as though your away on holiday somewhere not in grey clitheroe.. I had the stuffed peppers which were so good and so filling!

Another visit to this delightful restaurant up on Pendle Hill, home of the Witches of Lancashire. We had our usual assortment of starters which were as delicious as usual. Service was exceptional. Chatted with the owner Catherine who's birthday it was last week.
