   I was looking for a place to eat before a few drinks in Shipley and found this place recently. I've since returned for a second visit within a week. A wide range of dishes are available at reasonable prices. I've only tried the burgers so far which were really good on both occasions. There are a few tables inside if you wish to dine in. The owners are friendly too. Would recommend.

   I am a returning customer after hybrid working on and off for a year. I arrived during lunch hours to be greeted by Adam who has amazing customer service skills. He seemed to be man’ing the fort all by himself. I ordered the spicy chicken fillet burger meal yesterday and the monster burger today which Adam mentioned were freshly bought and cooked in the shop. I enjoyed the burger meal and the hospitality of Adam. You can see Adam’s passion to work at Burger Mate through the excellent work ethic he puts in to making the food! Would definitely come again for another fantastic experience. Keep it up Adam, you’re doing an awesome job!

   Absolutely terrible service. After taking time out to select this takeaway from a range of takeaways in the area. We were told 1hr 20mins for a delivery. After watching the whole england game and still no food, we contacted the takeaway to be told the food was already out and would be with you shortly. Looking at a lot of the reviews this evening it seems this takeaway told this to numerous customers. They obviously have issues dealing with multiple orders. Its probably best ordering from these guys when they open on a weekday. DEFINITELY DO NO ORDER AT THE WEEKEND. This is a small takeaway which is probably best run from a kitchen at home with teenagers on bike delivering the food. Will not be ordering from these guys again even if its the last place open. Management. If your going to enter into the food market. Know your industry and the amount of orders you can handle. How are you guys running a takeaway which can not even communicate with its customers. If your attitude to customers is to put the PHONE DOWN. Close up and go home, do something else with your lives. Wasters

   Ordered food by phone before England v France game. Was told 1hr 20 mins for delivery. Chased up after 1 hr 30m and we’re told delivery is out and should be with us soon. Still no delivery after 2 hours. Called again and were told we didn’t have your order and then put the phone down. Don’t bother with them lies and appalling customer service.

   I ordered from here as it came up on just eat website . I didnt know it was so close to where I live . Good customer service from delivery driver .The food arrived warm and in time. The burgers were very tasty and the buns were fresh. We enjoyed the meal overall . It was nice of you to include the extras with the kids meal. Only one negative I felt the chips were slightly over salted . I would definitely be ordering again and try something different from the menu . Good luck with your new business .
