   Waiting 2 hours and and still waiting- you tell me what it tastes like! Not even hungry now... after spending £42 for nothing - Just Eat? Eat what? Certainly won't be ordering again, especially when phone to be told other customers have been waiting longer....breakfast anyone?

   We’ve been going here for a good year or more now and it’s been brilliant. Tonight though 3rd Feb, we’re very disappointed. Chips cold and hard. Chicken chow main tastes different, doesn’t taste right, noodles aren’t cooked enough, chicken feels like sandwich chicken you get at supermarkets, and there were more veg in it before, mums chicken fried rice was horrible she said, and dad beef curry off.

   1st time ordering and won't ever be doing it again.. the soup was incredibly salty, after a few mouthfuls it was inedible. The "salt and pepper" chips was just chips covered in excess salt... same with the salt and pepper chicken. And to top it off, found a small piece of what looked like plastic in my chow main. Incredibly disappointed as I ordered it for my birthday meal.

   January 2023: I've twice used Magic Wok (today was the second time actually) this month. I found out from the lovely assistant that Chow Mein is pronounced MANE. Took me years to find this out!! Just finished the Chow Mein (stuffed to the gills now) after I added some black pepper and Soy sauce - I love salty things sadly. I NEED to know how they cook the onions to make them so sweet. When I make either Chinese or Indian/Pakistani dishes I cannot get the sweetness from the onions. Should I add sugar once I've fried them? Anyhow, this outlet is my 'go to' for Chinese takeaways.

   Absolutely disgusting service! First of all food was delivered late... then when it did come it was delivered in a car where the passenger was smoking so ended up not eating my food. Rang up to complain and ask for a refund. After over an hour of waiting for our refund to come back we rang the restaurant to be told we wouldn't be getting one as the driver denied everything! My husband ended up driving up to get refund. Ordered from somewhere else and I'm so glad we did in the end! AVOID

   If I could rate this service as a minus it would get minus 5 stars. We ordered a take away through Just Eat when it arrived the order was incorrect we were short of our starters for two (£10). The lady who answered the phone was not helpful at all offering to send out the starter in 40 minuets. When I told her that it was not acceptable she told us to contact Just eat and hung up. To make things worse the quality of the food that was delivered was not inspiring, it was cold and lacked flavor. Taking on board the advice given I tried to contact Just Eat to complain and ended up going around in circles. The order we placed was not even showing on our account. I feel we have been totally ripped off...

   I have avoided this Chinese for quite some time because of negative comments from people. Recently decided to try it again for myself and was totally amazed how good it was. I have now had a takeaway from them each week for the last 4 weeks and every one of them tasted amazing. I usually go to the imperial or peking city, but magic wok is now my favourite. Very tasty and very consistent. Highly recommended.

   I spent over £40 on food, £6 delivery fee. Food didn't arrive in expected delivery time 1 hour later so I phoned take away said it had been left on my doorstep 20mins ago. Found my food on a neighbours doorstep damaged and cold. Takeaway agreed to take away the damaged food a replace it with fresh. Delivery driver came back an hour later and collected damaged food but didn't bring any fresh! When I tried calling the Chinese back they became rude and kept ending the phone call. So I had to pay for a taxi their and back £14 to have it out in person. The issue wasn't resolved and now I'm waiting for just eat to refund me avoid at all cost!
