Ordered online, food never arrived. Been charged 42£ for nothing. Thank you Jumbo Chinese and thank you Just Eat
Last week I ordered from Jumbo on JustEat. They lied about my food being delivered on the platform and did not answer the phone despite me calling more than 5 times. Because they lied about the food being delivered JustEat will not refund my food. I feel unjustly scammed out of 70 pounds by a takeaway who are incapable of even answering the phone. A look at their JustEat reviews shows several similar complaints, complaints of long wait times and a sea of obvious bot reviews boosting this dreadful place. Save yourself the headache and order from somewhere else!

I placed an online order on Just Eat at 7:13pm and it said it would be up to 60/65mins. No problem. It came to 9:04pm when I rang them to see when its actually coming and they said it had just left and it would be with me in 10mins. It didnt get here until after 9:30pm. From ordering at 7:13pm and it arriving after 9:30pm is ridiculous and this is the first time in ordering with them. Its a shame as the beef in black bean sauce was actually nice, not warm tho, and the chips were on the dry side but all in all it was an alright meal. Went through just eat to get some money back because of the delivery and the restaurant messaged back saying they wouldnt as the reason the delivery was late was because of the bad weather…….. it was raining a bit, it wasnt a storm last nite. Again its a shame the delivery was VERY late as it was the first time ordering but I think i’ll stick to my usual local chinese restaurant
Food was brilliant, slightly dry chips but very moist rice. The only thing that has brought my review down is the sweet and sour sauce. The best word to describe this is vile. It tastes more like an extremely sweet cherry drink than an actual sauce. I hope for this to be changed as i have seen many reviews have the same complaint.

Terrible food. I've been using Jumbo in Bingley for over 20yrs. It was obvious from the minute I opened the containers (plastic now) that it had changed hands! The special fried rice was overcooked boiled rice thrown together to look like fried.No sign of the fried egg on top. Ribs in a watery sauce and bean sprouts in a thick glutenous sauce. I parted with £14.10 for food that in my opinion was very very poor. So I took it back. I ordered Chinese because I wanted proper Chinese food in the same way that I wouldn't go to a curry house for a roast beef dinner! I asked the Asian guy behind the counter if it had changed hands and was it still run by the same couple. He said it hadn't changed hands although one of his friends outside told me it had. I would have respected the guy in the takeaway more if he had told the truth. The food however didn't lie. Avoid at all costs.
