Me and my wife Visited last night for my 60th Birthday meal.. It's a large restaurant with only 5 other people in it The restaurant itself was a bit chilly, absolutely no atmosphere,no candles or table decorations,no background music it was very uninvited. Food was average at best - one dish the sizzling mixed vegetables in satay sauce was appalling- it was just beansprouts a few carrots and water chestnuts and the sauce was like water. Bottle of wine was £32.00 and the meal came to £115.50 and that was with £10.00 for the Sizzling mixed veg removed from the Bill. At end of meal no hot flannel to wipe hands with either Overall a very poor expensive experience. Certainly wont be going back.

Had visitors and decided to treat them to what used to be a high end Chinese restaurant. What a mistake the service to put it mildly is awful with food coming at different times and the staff very surly. The food when it came was awful the chicken looked as if it was the worst pieces of the chicken. The spring rolls didn't seem to be cooked. Why we didn't send it back I will forever regret and when the bill came it wasn't itemised and cost a staggering 177 pounds. Avoid this place at all costs. It would have been better going to mcdonald's

We went for lunch, I should have read the vibes, there was water leaking through the ceiling into buckets we were the only customers (3) for the whole of our stay. No heating so we ate in our overcoats, food was average. I agree with a previous correspondent it used be great friendly environment to eat… not now… the bill was not detailed just the total amount which was surprisingly high…. No tip… unusual for me

Very tasty food, delicious steamed sea bass and salt and pepper prawns. Felt a little rushed despite them saying last orders were 10pm (our table was booked for 8.45). Will be back again. Good value for taste and quality

Love this Cantonese restaurant - always go for a set menu when we visit with friends as you get a good variety. Food always delicious, staff friendly, service efficient. We always make a reservation as we tend to go on a Saturday evening and they are busy.

The crispy duck was quite dry. At the end of the meal they wanted to close down so the waitress removed the clean tablecloth and left us with a dirty tablecloth which was underneath. Was quite abrupt. The Chinese tea was good.

Very nice food. Lovely surroundings. Unusual to wait for parts of our order. 4 out 6 of us had our food arrive together, and then had to wait 10 minutes for the other 2 meals to arrive!?

Food was good, best sizzling chicken, ginger and spring onion dish we have had. Duck pancakes are good but I have had better. Service was very friendly but a little slow for us. We lived the atmosphere. I would definitely go back and would recommend it.

Great meal. Worth a visit. Loved that it was a small menu. But every item cooked perfectly.
