0 on atmosphere as its just a take away but really good food. Im such a foody and have tried a lot of chinese across Bham / Solihull and Coventry and I'd say this one is one of the best Chinese
Never had a bad meal from here, and I usually over order.
Visited from Scotland and thought I’d give this place a try while on a short break. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite hit the mark for me. I ordered the beef curry, which was lacking in both quantity and flavour — the beef seemed boiled and didn’t carry much taste, and the curry itself was a bit too watery for my preference. It tasted a bit like the mayflower curry i make at home, but honestly not as nice. The fried rice was okay, but could’ve used a little more seasoning or soy sauce as it was a bit bland. The chicken balls were unexpected — much smaller than what I’m used to and the batter reminded me of chip shop-style, which might appeal to some but left me undecided. Oddly enough, they were probably the highlight of the meal aside from the fortune cookies. Chips were bland which is to be expected but the texture was mush. Overall, the food felt quite budget — which, in fairness, it was — but sadly that was reflected in the taste and quality. The seating area could definitely use some attention. The chairs didn’t feel particularly welcoming, more like something repurposed after being found laying in a ditch. The ripped couch being the centre of attention when walking inside. That said, the staff member I dealt with was genuinely lovely and polite, It’s a shame the food didn’t match the service.
Possibly the worst chinese I've ever had. Had a beef curry and the beef was so thin and barely any of it. The curry sauce just tasted like it was straight out of a packet. Also the chicken balls we're tiny! Compared to most other chinese takeaways. The banana fritters we're ok. Overall i definitely wouldn't return just thought i would try somewhere different but think I'll stick to the chengs garden.
they didn’t take my order unitl 45 minutes when they were workers on their phones and a worker named carol gave me a dirty looks as i started to eat. as i am a big man she said “of course your ordering a lot” which is just downright disrespectful and i have had a lot of problems in the past about suicide because of my weight and i was on the verge of tears
Our local Chinese that we have used for years, never had an issue with our order and its always a large one due to the size of the family, food is always lovely.
The food is some of the best Chinese food I've had. Highly recommend the SnS chicken HK, chefs special fried rice and the roast duck pancakes.
Never had any problems. Delivery comes quickly. Food is always hot and packed fully. Amazing quality and amazing prices. Definitely worth it and is now my go-to! 100% recommend.
Never had a problem ordering and pick up, good service. Recommend house special rice. Rice and vegetables topped with beef, pork, chicken and large prawns. Great with plain noodles and just over £8, enough for 2 people.great menu choices to try...
The food is always cooked well and tastes lovely. The wait is never very long. They also take phone orders. The staff are very friendly and helpful when you go there. Would highly recommend this place
