I never write reviews but the food I just ate from this place was the most tasteless Chinese food I’ve ever had. Super disappointed as it used to be nice. Apparently the chefs haven’t changed so I’m not sure what’s happened. Never going back ever.
I have been using the Dragon inn for the last 30 years and it's always been amazing food . However I am sad to say that we ordered our Friday night Chinese and the food was bland and tasteless. This was really disappointing as I am always recommending The Dragon Inn as it has always been good, but sad to say , it did not live up to our expectations.
Best king prawn curry and Hong Kong sweet and sour In The World. Their delivery is also excellent. This is the best Chinese takeaway in Coventry without any doubt. Just try it!!
Since moving house this has become our local takeaway. Really tasty food, always arrives super quick and staff are always very friendly.
Ordered takeaway for delivery at 6pm so that we would all be home to eat it. Delivery came at 5pm! 2 of us not particularly hungry and 1 was still at work so food wasted and other food had to be reheated for when I came back home at 6pm. Rang to complain and all they said was that if we want the food for 6 order it at 6! Doesn’t make any sense as you can schedule your order for a particular time but clearly they are not paying attention to that! Bad service and attitude!
Have ordered from this Chinese for many many years, they have always made the tastiest food ever!
This used to be a great take-away. We have been living in the local area for over 40 years. Ordered meal at 5.40.pm come 6.55.pm no sign. phoned them up to ask when its coming, was told they were very busy?? whey were not when we ordered. they opened at 5,00?? I think they lost the order. when the order eventually came, the chips were just about warm, the curry sauce was gelled and set!! pancake roll just about warm!! not a nice meal.
Used to be such a great takeaway. The food was great. I specifically told the staff that I had a sesame allergy and they completely ignored it. What's worse, is that I found a hair in my food! The delivery also took 2 hours. wow.
Been getting food from here since I was a kid with my parents. Always been fantastic food. My husband and I do not live close enough to get delivery so we always collect. No other Chinese for us! We order a Chinese with them every 6-8 weeks. Recently we have heard there was a change of ownership which we would not have guessed. The food and portions are all the same and same standard as they have always been. Only difference we have noticed is the shape of the chicken balls which we actually prefer and the spicy chicken wings are now battered, also a plus in our eyes. Great Chinese. Nothing else compares :)
