Was visiting Mkt Harborough to find a dress for my uni graduation. Visited Jacks and mentioned the occasion, the staff were able to pick out dresses that were perfect for the occasion and even wanted to know what colour gown I'd wear so that we could find a dress that would match. Found a gorgeous dress that I love!
I had a disappointing experience at Jacks recently. When I visited the store, I felt that the staff did not engage with customers as warmly as I would have hoped. I purchased a dress for a considerable price five days ago, only to find out it is now on sale for £65 less than what I paid. I believe it would have been helpful if the staff had informed me about the impending sale at the time of my purchase. When I inquired about their refund policy for full-priced items, the assistant, after finishing her lunch, explained that they could have sold the dress at full price and that refunds are not possible but I could have a credit not in this case. While I recognise that certain policies are implemented, they were not clearly communicated during my visit, which left me feeling dissatisfied. I prioritize customer service and believe there is an opportunity for the store to enhance its performance in this area. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet my expectations. on this experience, I may consider shopping elsewhere in the future.

Gill has an amazing eye and this is a gem of a shop. Staff are friendly and there is a great range of smart and occasion wear. My go to shop.

Nothing over the size of 16, not helpful at all, too busy chatting to their friends... obviously don't want someone over the adverage size in their shop....very disappointed as I liked a lot of the designs.
