Service was horrible and ruined the entire experience. You cannot install kiosks and then just disregard customer service. We tried to order at the kiosk and the screen froze multiple times and also restarted our order from the beginning. We decided to go to the till to order and we stood there for 10 minutes without even an acknowledgement. People came over to the till to process what looked like delivery orders but didn’t even look up to us to take our order or say somthing. We then had to ask the guy at the terminal can he take our order and he just palmed us off and said “she will take your order” and pointed at the lady at the front who has been ignoring us from the get go. We then called out to the so called lady who was taking our order can she, her only vocabulary was “cash or card?” “Card, use machine” we explained that we’ve tried but failed. However she didn’t care and just turned her back to us. Go customer care, no atmosphere, horrible cleanliness and customer service.

I am a regular customer here, which makes this experience even more disappointing. I did not feel welcomed at all — something I’m normally used to, as I’m usually recognised and made to feel at home. The staff member on the till, Tina, was rude and refused to take my order, dismissively telling me to use the self-service machine rather than providing basic customer service. The food was unacceptable: cold, very poor portions, and the burger was missing the cheese sauce, which is a fundamental part of the item. The security presence was extremely nonchalant. With drunk, rowdy individuals roaming outside, I did not feel secure inside the premises. Overall, this experience was absolutely disgusting. Given the severity of the issues, I will be raising this matter further, including with CoventryLive, as customers deserve to know the standards currently being delivered at this location.

A Culinary Tragedy in a Box To the team at GBK Coventry, I came with the simple, noble ambition of a kebab. One dreams of succulent meat, crisp salad, and a warm pitta—a triumphant beacon of flavour. What I received, however, was less a meal and more a conceptual art piece titled "Edible Regret." The meat's texture suggested a previous career as a car tyre, the salad possessed a limpness born of profound melancholy, and the price tag was, frankly, audacious. I'm a reasonable person. I know not every kebab can be a life-changing event. But this wasn't food; it was a cry for help on a polystyrene plate. A truly unforgettable experience, though not for the reasons one hopes. Warmest wishes,

GDK Coventry serves up reliably good food with quick service and solid portions. The place runs efficiently even at peak times, and the quality stays consistent. If you want a straightforward, tasty option in the city, it’s one of the best picks.

Nice Food all round I always enjoy it. The Service last time was a little difficult because I used the self order machine to Order my food but it doesn't give you a Receipt to confirm your order number and your order and I didn't really pay attention to what my order number was so it caused me to constantly be going up to the service counter when ever they called an order out just in case it was mine and someone else takes it since they weren't even confirming if the order someone took was actually theirs. Also I didn't like the atmosphere since there were lots of rowdy and loud people disturbing others who wanted to just enjoy their meal with family so I don't think this place is that good atmosphere wise to go and enjoy a meal with family. With your friends or solo it seems alright atmosphere wise. It is a shame because the place is nicely set up physically.

More like food to soak up the festivities of a night out. I wouldn’t eat this willingly again. Portions were big but the meat was dry and not spectacular to say the least. A lot of seating but didn’t see many people in there with me. The spring rolls were subpar, mentioned before meat didn’t add any flare to it. Chips were ok. Average meal, like any other kebab house in town.

It’s just BANGIN ain’t it! Never had a bad one and the staff are always lovely! This MAD JAN deal they’re doing at the minute is ridiculously good! Always a good to if I’m in town!

I’m not so sure about the place. The food and kebab is very good but the service is very slow. It’s very chaotic, despite being well staffed.
