   This shop is outside the big Beaumont shopping centre. It's a good size Matalan with plenty of stock. There is a large free parking area Infront of the shop.

   Punishing cash payers and putting them with the returns que. Waited around 10 minutes in your cash lane..waiting for 2 customers who was returning about 30 items each. So the que got bigger and bigger..the women walking around asking me about 3 times if I am paying with my card.. so 10 minutes was a long wait especially having a 4 year old with me.. I bought him a toy underneath the toys it stated £3.50 for ninja turtle toy set.. ( I had a feeling it was too good to be true but the toy was infact £11.50a whole £7 more) queuing for 10 minutes to be told "someone's messed with the tabs" I said who's faults that? I was £5 short.. other customers was getting annoyed at the wait.. I went and told the women shes not doing her job properly her reply was she makes sure all the toys are aligned and tody I said its not the tidy part its the price checking thats the problem.. again ill stress other customers was not happy.. 1 lady behind me gave me £5 to help me out.. I was not prepared to look for another toy and que for 10 minutes. All in all unorganised chaos

   Have not been to the store for several months as it is not local but was really surprised at the quality and variety of clothes on offer. Lots of good pieces for spring/summer. Store is having a refurb and there are no changing rooms but staff member kindly suggested although toilets are not great at least I could try on there which I did. Lady on self check out was a really great help (sorry didn't get a name but she had black hair and black glasses, very friendly). Pointed me to the Matalan app where I got 20% off my purchases and saved nearly £30! Happy days.

   Always a good place to shop. Well laid out and clean. Good selection of clothes for all ages groups. Also home products. Clothes are fashionable and very reasonably priced.

   This is a great store selling quality clothes at reasonable prices. Not cheap as primark but cheaper than many of the brands out there like M&S, Next, Bonmarche, Dorothy Perkins etc. The material of the products is second to none. I have a jacket from this place and its 4 years old now and still looks like new. No colour fade at all. So a good balance of style, quality and value.

   Only 2 members of staff inside , I struggled with two other customers to find assistance but nobody in the men’s side. Finally get help by someone probably was a manager, been very rude.. this is last time I will pop in there. I’m manager too and I can say that that they got not clue how manage a team. When left 3 members was smoking and drinking outside just left the door.
