   Staff is very poor in knowledge at till because I bought 6 items and she count 7 items and charge £7 more I was in hurry so I didn’t check at receipts while I was in store but when I went home then I looked at receipt there was £7 over charge so I came back store I spend my time and travel to store again then also they took 20 minutes to refund me so meanwhile they need to do theirs job properly without talking each other while they serve customers. I am not happy with that so guys always check your receipts at matalan.

   The manager of the Clearance store in Leicester is not fit for purpose. Refused to refund faulty footwear, she is also rude and obnoxious. Some of the sales assistants lack customer care, they should look up the definition of customer service. Staff like this is why I prefer to shop online. The store itself is ok, not much variety for men, but I have found the odd bargain.

   This place is scheduled to close down; so, the shelves are not quite full and the variety of goods and sizes not so great. Also there is neither a fitting room nor a single mirror in the shop (and I am NOT exaggerating; I specifically asked for a mirror and was told that there is none!)

   I'm autistic and I have sensory issues when it comes to wearing certain fabrics and styles of clothes. There's no fitting rooms, NO MIRRORS in the whole store, you are ABSOLUTELY NOT ALLOWED TO TRY ANY CLOTHES ON (I was only trying certain things on my clothes) they TRICK you into buying clothes that you cannot even try on because it's a clearance store and then you can't even return it and get a full refund, only a store credit . So what it's a clearance store??? I can go to H&M, New Look, literally any other shop and try on the clearance clothes. NEVER COMING BACK. Your clothes aren't even worth it. Most of them is a cheap, Chinese, polyester quality. I'd give you -1 if I could.
