What a gem to find in Stratford. Quiet. Parking right outside. Friendly service and an excellent and well-priced menu. The Grand breakfast is GRAND! Perfect eggs Benedict. Such good portions. Quick prep and service.
Large, characterful restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Stopped in for an early breakfast (avocado toast and scrambled eggs with toast) along with a latte and pot of green tea. Nice meal and good service.
Really loved this place. We used to have a couple of Café Rouge branches in the west side of Manchester and we loved dining there. But now all closed in our area, so we took this opportunity to have lunch in this Café Rouge branch while we were on travel. Lovely food, great taste and very pleasant staff serving the food & drink.
Hello, I am Spanish and I came to this restaurant through a tour and the truth is that it has been a success. It's a great place. The food is delicious, they have a vegetarian option and for all types of allergens. It's very, very good. Very good attention and very good service. The quiche was delicious, I loved it and the chocolate coulant with the scoop of ice cream was amazing, the best of all! I loved this place, if I go back to Stratford I will definitely go there. Thank you! I recommend it 100%.
Nice old place on ones of the main streets. The food was good, but nothing memorable. The staff was ok, same as the food, nothing to make me come back there. There is no parking, same as most of the restaurants in that area.

Absolutely delicious, had the duck confit and a trio of mini deserts. Really enjoyed our meal, we don't live in the area but if we ever visit again we will definitely be back!!
Well it would have been a 5 Star review from me, for presentation of the food and service from the lovely waiter. But.. and here comes the but: me and my partner had suddenly become seriously ill. I have only ever had food poisoning once before and this time it was worse. I shall not describe the gastrointernal problems we've suffered since leaving the cafe this afternoon. We had different things to eat before but shared the afternoon tea, which must have been the issue. Either the brownies, cake,scone or sandwiches were off because that's what we shared and I can not even make this up. I wasn't able to pick up my kids from school as I've sat on the toilet all afternoon and my partner had to ring an ambulance. I am still in so much pain but obviously have to stay home with the children. It would have been such a good day if that wouldn't have happened. Im really sorry for the bad review but I have no other option, the kitchen staff has to find the source of it and maybe need to be on top with dating eggs, milk, cakes etc. There was an elderly couple eating the same things I truly hope they won't be as bad as us. Please consider an investigation on this matter. Thanks a lot. And thanks to the lovely staff.
