Visited Flannels at Fosse Park and had a fantastic experience. The customer service team were incredibly welcoming and really looked after us from start to finish. They were friendly, attentive, and made the whole visit feel easy and enjoyable. Really impressed with the excellent service all round!
I’m writing to express my disappointment with my recent experience at the Flannels Fosse Park store. During the Black Friday promotion, I made a purchase of approximately £1300, buying two items. Based on the advertised offer, I expected to receive a £100 voucher for each item purchased. However, the staff provided only a single £100 voucher and claimed that I was only eligible for one, regardless of the total spend or number of items purchased. When I asked for clarification, the staff did not share or explain the full terms of the promotion and appeared to withhold important information. Their attitude was unhelpful and dismissive, and I felt that the situation was handled very poorly. Spending this amount of money should come with good customer service and transparency, but unfortunately, that was not the case. This experience has left me extremely dissatisfied, and I would not recommend this branch based on how customers are treated. I hope Flannels reviews this issue and improves both staff communication and customer service.
Went into the store to buy some aftershave a few days before and brought a bottle. I then took it back a day later to get a bigger bottle which was going to be an extra £55 no probs, but then had the hard sale to spend an extra £90 on top which I refused. The person knew what i wanted, but because of the sales targets she actually made my visit unpleasant Will not go bk
The sales staff are terrible at the fragrance section! Just look miserable, unbothered, and so unapproachable. Like I had to pluck up some courage to discuss a fragrance with a young lady assistant, I could tell she did not want to speak to me...the vibe for a designer outlet doesn't feel so designer....
Flannels coffee bar Poorly designed tables and seats broken so limited no room to move between tables with ridiculously shaped chairs for small space Ordered 2 teas I had to wait until the rush was over as told too many orders incoming mine was left till end of rush. Will not visit again to this pretentious place
Visited restaurant staff were helpful and polite cannot fault the service but ordered 2 crumbles which were disgusting; only can describe them as “soup” in a bowl, light sprinkle of crumble topping over a sickly sweet “soup” no texture and appalling chef skill. These were obviously home made to a very poor standard and completely inedible and over priced, do not eat here wasted over £15! Really not worth a penny
Awful customer service. I just wanted to buy some makeup and asked at a different counter if they could get a product out because was no one there. The standard response I’ve had is “sorry I don’t work on that counter, so I can’t help.” Really? You can’t even open a drawer? The two girls on the Charlotte Tilbury counter were doing nothing at the time (apart from chatting rubbish to each other), so it’s not like they were helping other customers. The same thing has also happened to me before in this store and is not a ‘one off’ occurrence. Each time I have walked out. I won’t be going back to try and get make up for a third time. No worries, I’ll just go to Selfridges instead and buy my makeup from there in future. If you can’t even be bothered to get a product out, then I’m not interested.
I usually shop at flannels in Leicester city centre however today I visited fosse park, went to the lift and went upstairs where my little girl was looking at a handbag and she picked it (she is only 2), she loves shopping with her Mummy, considering the amount of money I’ve spent this year alone in flannels I would have expected a different reception from staff here, they all followed me to the shoes, I stopped a staff member to ask for my size in UGG boots, they all gathered around me, beside me, behind me, where they blatantly read out my description in their ear pieces, at this point I am hugely uncomfortable, as I waited for staff member to return with my uggs the handbag was left near the shoes, one of the staff asked “is that yours”, I said “oh no my little girl picked it up” to which he replied whist looking at me disgusted “you need to leave NOW” I asked why and he said “you know why”, I’m absolutely none the wiser, a considerable amount of staff gathered around me, completely intimidating me, security guard arrived up and respectfully tried to defuse the situation,but I will NEVER shop in flannels again, I left and got in my car and went home and cried, that’s how they made me feel! Avoid this shop at all costs unless you want a wrongful insinuation of shoplifting from staff members that are very much in need of retraining in customer service!
Terrible customer service upstairs in the clothing department, waiting for someone to acknowledge you and serve you is too much to ask, we waited at the counter so long that in the end we had to go on the look out for someone and even then it’s like you’ve put them out. Downstairs is absolutely freezing, I don’t understand why it’s so cold inside especially near the entry it’s a horrible shopping experience. You’ll catch a cold looking for a lipstick. No idea how the poor staff work there all day. They may sell high end items but the shopping experience was far from luxury.
good staff on the charlotte tilbury stand, but i’m extremely disappointed in how me and my friend were treated by one of the security guards. we were walking about looking at each beauty stand and the whole time we were followed by the security guard. it doesn’t stop there, we proceeded to go into the photo booth and was soon kicked out by that security guard which after that we were fed up and i went to buy something at the checkout, miraculously his attitude changed as he saw i had bought something and he let us into the photo booth. i’m extremely disappointed.
