   We found Martin at Compton Financial Services through a Google search, looking for an adviser for a first time property purchase. From the initial conversation through to agreeing a mortgage with a lender, Martin and the team of Kim and Sarah have been brilliant at chasing things down and keeping us informed. We had a fair few questions during the process which were answered in detail and very quickly. There was an issue with the valuation which none of us were happy with so the team pushed back, kept on top of things and managed to resolve the issue with almost no delay in the process. For something that is said to be a stressful experience, we thought nothing of it. We've asked Martin to continue with us in future once the rate is coming to an end and we'll definitely be in touch for any other financial service advice we need. Couldn't recommend Martin, Kim and Sarah enough.

   Martin’s help in getting the mortgage offer has been instrumental. His knowledge and contacts have helped to navigate some of the challenges we have faced during the process which were not anticipated. The process began with a thorough consultation from Martin, explaining the house buying process and all of its steps. Once we have found a house and made an offer, Martin had us upload all the necessary documents/paperwork onto their easy-to-use secure platform. Where we had faced unforeseen circumstances were in aspects of immigration and structural integrity during the application process. Martin’s expertise and personal advice have been key in helping us navigate through the process to make the right decisions, helping us avoid a lot of stress. His outreach with various contacts with the lenders has helped us in securing the mortgage on favourable terms despite these issues. Throughout the process Martin has been very responsive; whether that’s through email or phone calls and provided a necessary buffer when dealing with estate agents on our behalf. With interest rates going up rapidly (especially after the Truss micro-budget) Martin worked through the weekends and late into the evenings to make sure our application was completed as soon as possible before the worst of the rate rises took affect.
