   I am writing to formally complain about the extremely poor customer service I received from the store manager during my recent visit to your store. The issue arose when I asked to check the size of a pair of boxed boxers before purchasing them. The manager refused to allow me to open the box, despite the fact that the box clearly needed to be opened in order to remove the tag. I was not attempting to wear or misuse the item — only to confirm the correct size prior to purchase. When I tried to explain this, the manager was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional in their response. Rather than listening or offering an alternative solution, they spoke to me in a condescending manner and showed no willingness to help resolve what should have been a simple request. I understand that store policies exist; however, this situation could have been handled politely and professionally. Instead, the manager’s behaviour made me feel uncomfortable and undervalued as a customer. As a manager, they should be setting a positive example of customer service. This experience was very disappointing and does not reflect the standard of service I would expect from your company. I hope this matter will be taken seriously and that appropriate steps will be taken to address the behaviour and prevent similar incidents in the future. I would appreciate a response acknowledging this complaint and outlining any action taken

   Went in last week 25 minutes prior to closure and was told I wouldn’t have long upstairs by the man at the door, then after arriving upstairs I was told they were closing in 2 minutes. I said you are open for a further 20 minutes and that he was clearly mistaken to which he called his assistant manager over who told me I would be refused service and I was welcome to complain but would not provide her name so I could do so. Then when I came back downstairs the guy at the front was arguing with a customer refusing to let him go up the stairs even though the shop had 15 minutes left prior to closure. Absolutely disgusting service, refusing sales and arguing with customers not letting them in during opening times? MANAGEMENT higher up need to wake up and deal with these issues asap absolutely appalling. All windows had the shuttered down half hour before closing giving appearance they were closed

   I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the experience I had at the Direct Sport store in Warwickshire shopping park Coventry . I purchased a pair of shoes from a direct sport store and brought them home for my son to try. Unfortunately, they were one size too small. Within approximately two hours of purchase, I returned to the store with the shoes and receipt, intending to exchange them for the correct size. The shoes had only been tried on indoors for a few minutes and had not been worn outside. To my surprise, the staff refused the exchange, claiming the shoes were no longer in a resellable condition. When I asked for clarification, they pointed to very minor dirt marks on the sole, which could easily occur from minimal indoor use. The shoes remained in excellent overall condition. I requested to speak with the store manager, who responded in an extremely unprofessional and dismissive manner. Rather than addressing my concerns, she abruptly asked me to leave the store, accusing me of “creating a scene.” This interaction took place in full view of other customers, which was both embarrassing and distressing. Following this incident, I recorded a short video from the public area outside the store to document the situation and raise awareness. Upon noticing this, the female manager and another staff members came outside and aggressively demanded that I delete the video. They began to verbally harass me and even used racially offensive language. One of them also threatened to call the police. I made it clear that I was within my rights to record in a public area and would not delete the video. Before leaving, the staff warned me not to return to the store. I have since contacted Direct Sport’s complaint department but, to date, have received no response, apology, or acknowledgment. Please don’t purchase anything from this store (the manager can be seen in the video standing inside the store). I was later able to exchange the same exact shoes from another direct sport outlet with no questions asked.

   Came here with my mate as he wanted to find some golfing gear. There wasn’t much left tho. Big store on two levels. Surprised to see some good named brands The store was clean and well organised The staff didn’t really interact so can’t really comment

   Had a very bad experience bought 2 tshirts and they turned out to be big for my uncle who l had bought for ,went there to return them for a smaller size ,since l had lost my receipt l showed the man my bank transaction for the day and he gave me some excuse that the transaction he can see are tshirts but not the sizes that l want to change for . Now l am stuck with big sized tshirts very disappointed.

   Store manager is very rude. Also don’t buy the elite store brand football socks. They are fish net tights. Kids refused to wear them. What next high heal shoes for playing football?

   The worst service from the staff in their dealings with customers I have seen in Uk . They are not serious about selling, as if I beg of them when I ask them to help bring the product. Today was my experience with three employees from this branch. If it was one person, I would have said that he might have difficult circumstances outside of work, but three employees!!!
