   What a disappointment on visiting Hotter Solihull today, my making a special journey to. The assistant was busy talking to another assistant in behind the partition on my arrival. Continued to talk in my presence whilst I was looking at trainers and boots. No communication with me. No discussion on what I was looking for and suitable advice. I continued to look in the window on my departure as the assistant still continued to talk. I would have bought 1-2 pairs of shoes/ trainers had I had the opportunity. The next shop I went into there customer service was exemplary. Well done.

   Before visiting the store today,I had previously called to check on availability of items to purchase.The woman on the phone huffed and puffed about my query.made it sound as though this call was unconvenient and sound put out that she had to check stock.Due to the items I was going to purchase being for someone else,I again had to call again later in the morning.This time the lady on the phone was very abrupt,saying “I’ve already spoke to you this morning to check on stock”!! I asked if I was only allowed to ask once ? Wow !! Very bad customer service!! I asked if I could order in store for items showing as in stock on the website? I was told yes.later in the day I visited the store to hear the lady speaking loudly to another customer,telling her that she didn’t like the look of the shoe on her foot,it was bulging! The customer should be the judge of that surely? I made my way to the counter to an assistant stood there.As I start to ask my question about stock .The lady whose name was Charlotte shouted that the other woman was on break,what did I want ? I had photos on my phone that I showed her,asking if I could get these ordered in? She tutted and told me the shoes were obviously summer stock and last years shoes.Again very rude and abrupt.i was made to feel like I should not be asking for the availability of the shoes,despite them being on your website.she made no effort at all to show me any alternatives in the store.i looked on my way out but quite honestly was so shocked and actually quite angry with Charlottes attitude towards a potential customer that I left empty handed.Not sure that I would go back again to be treated like that.Maybe she was having a bad day? Who knows? But actually no I think that’s just what Charlotte is like after reading another review about the service in this store.Maybe it would be worthwhile putting her on a customer service refresher course as she’s obviously forgotten her training and more importantly her manners !! Not a good representative for this store.

   I recently visited the Hotter Shoes store in Solihull, hoping to buy a few pairs of shoes because I trust the brand’s quality. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The shop assistant seemed uninterested in helping us and did not listen to our requests, which made it difficult to get the support we needed. I was patient and really wanted to make a purchase, but the lack of assistance turned it into a frustrating visit. I hope the store can improve its customer service, as the products themselves are great.

   We popped in to take my step mother aged 75. With very poor mobility and foot issues. EG misshaped and swelling, found the lady serving kept disappearing and serving other customers also walking off. Was convinced to give her shoes two sizes to small, after explaining the swelling and foot issues. Didn't feel listened too or understood. Made to feel rushed and like she didn't know her own shoe size. Did end up buying 2 pairs of shoes at the size 2 sizes bigger than what the sale assistant tried to sell her, because they were the ones that fit. In a shoe shop that caters more to the older generation more patients and considerations should be given.

   Very disappointed when I visited the store to return some shoes and hopefully get some different ones instead. The manager handled the return and refund efficiently. I then started to look for some alternatives. I was asked what size and said what I thought I was. The assistant asked 'do you want your feet measured' I said yes please. She did so, somewhat half heartedly, then asked what styles I wanted to try. She brought some out and basically said 'there you are' and went off. There were a few other customers in the shop, who appeared to be wanting to buy several pairs of shoes and the assistants seemed to be more interested in helping them. Really felt like an inconvenience, consequently I left without shoes. I have used this store in the past and always had good service, not sure what was going on last week but not happy with the service I was offered.

   Female manager was very condescending when I tried to return some shoes. Yes they were out of the 30 days return policy but she didnt have to be so condescending about it.

   I love hotter shoes and my family and we often visit At Solihull branch. As we all are full time working family . Downside of Solihull branch is the Staff are not friendly always making unfriendly faces and never come to u to ask for help . And if I ask for help most of ladies start making faces .
