   Visited the store after a family recommendation. Gary was friendly and knowledgeable. We purchased a Hisense Fridge Freezer. It’s worth checking the prices elsewhere. We didn’t and overpaid by £30 compared to Argos, Curry’s and Sonic on offer. The star deduction is around the delivery issues. They use a delivery guy and we were quoted around £20 on purchase day. On delivery day we received a call asking us when it would be suitable for us to collect. We explained we had booked the delivery at the time of purchase. We were informed the delivery was £30 which we excepted. We were then contacted and quoted £50 due to us having a few steps at the entrance. This was all discussed on purchase day with us confirming my husband would be around to assist the one delivery guy. We refused the £50 delivery and had to collect ourselves which was inconvenient. They did assist with putting the fridge freezer in our car, however the delivery issue was not acceptable.

   Thanks, Michael and Gary for the absolutely fantastic service. So satisfying about product explanation. Very affordable price, actually way cheaper than high street shops prices. Highly recommend this place for any kitchen appliances or fridge freezer. The customer service is 10 on 10. Opened all my appliances month and half later for installation and found out one of the appliance doesn't fit in my kitchen unit, so needed a smaller size and it was a 30 days return policy, I was not expecting to get an exchange as it's already been almost 2 months from purchase date. But still I decided to call them up for an exchange and surprisingly they have given me the exchange without any questions asked, although the 30 days were over. From now on, this is my permanent appliances shopping place. Again, thanks a lot to appliance star for the absolute brilliant service.

   I'm a 67 year old, live on my own and have a few personal issues. When I entered Appliance Star it was like a Tardis - so many items for sale. I was greeted by Gary. He was polite, empathetic, not pushy and made me feel really valued from the start. No question was too small and he was most appreciative of my requirements re delivery. Such customer service is rare. Also he was NOT pushy at all. I instantly bought this whirplool washing machine - superb value . The package offered for delivery/ fitting & removal of old machine beats anything offered by AO, Currys etc. The delivery was extremely prompt and Adam the Engineer, came prepared to meet my needs; he did not make me feel embarrassed, was very professional, competent and extremely polite. He answered some silly questions from me and was most reassuring. He also made no mess and took great acre when fitting. Adam and Gary - are cut from the cloth and made thsi whole experience stress free!! I have no probelm recommending Halifax Appliances : Their prices and service has been second to none. You won't be disappointed Thank you Gary .
