Ordered the Ebury in dark brown burnished calf. Shoes are absolutely gorgeous. UK to US sizing was perfect. Bodileys customer service is sublime. This is my second purchase (first was the Westminster boot in dark brown burnished calf) and the experience is the same as the first.

Beautiful shoes and impeccable customer service. Recommend ordering directly from Bodileys for the customer service / generally to support them! The shoes - I ordered the Markham in dark brown. This has to be one of the most beautiful shoes I've seen. It looked fantastic on the website but is even more stunning in reality. The quality of the craftsmanship is evident. The shoe sizing is comparable to other UK brands such as Loakes (i.e. not Italian sizing where I usually go 1-2 UK sizes lower) so order your normal size. The Markham is slightly more elongated giving it a beautiful style but still the sizing is normal UK sizing. This is easily one of the finest monk straps I've seen. To get such quality as such a price is quite unheard of. The customer service - before I ordered I was unsure on the sizing, so I sent the customer service address an email. An incredibly prompt and incredibly helpful response was received from Sarah Dudley. From what I gather Sarah is the CEO of Bodileys so the personal touch from a family business was appreciated. I also asked for clarity on the style as I had seen separate pictures on two websites, and the details looked slightly different. Sarah sent a picture herself of the shoe in her hand so I could see what it was actually like. You do not get this level of customer service elsewhere, and this is all the more important when buying a shoe online. In the end, this service meant I received the shoe I had my heart set on, in the right size, and delivered to my doorstep within a few days of sending my first email. First class service!
