Our sons attend Springmead and, since joining a year ago, we have been utterly blown away with the commitment and kindness of staff. A genuinely nurturing environment encompasses the entire school ethos. Our youngest has now progressed from Nursery into the main school and his confidence has bloomed. We are so grateful for a school where our children’s holistic development is thriving - we can’t thank the staff team at Springmead enough for the excellent work that they’re doing!

Springmead school has been such a positive influence on my children. The academic experience has served them all well incredibly but their exposure to the arts and sport at a young age has helped build their confidence. The wrap around care and how their staff build relationships with families is encouraging. The Springmead Way values are amazing and align with our family values so going by my experience I would recommend this school from the preschool all the way to year 6. If only they had a secondary school ☺️

It's been almost 2 years since I left Springmead. So I've had enough time to gather how I feel and what I gained from the school, so here you go: Absolutely fantastic, when you are around the school at break or in lessons, it always feels like people care. The decision to make the classes small is an overwhelmingly good one. You develop huge bonds with friends and teachers and you don't have to pretend to be someone you're not. I now go to St Laurence in Bradford. A school with over 1400 kids. But despite the fantastic friends I have from there, the friends I have from Springmead are the ones I feel connected to the most. This is because of the quality time I got to speak with them, at school, at break, on trips, clubs etc. Finally, the thing I am most grateful for was the preparation for secondary. It is an obscenly hard thing to do well, when everyone goes to different schools with different attitudes to everything, but they cover everything probably more than that, and has made my first 2 years of secondary a lot simpler. I have no doubts based on what it was like when I left, and the signs I've seen around Beckington and Frome, that it is at the top level still, in quality and emotional reception. Thanks for the experience.

Inspiring teaching, outstanding outdoor education and fascinating lessons. My time at Springmead School was honestly one of the most pivotal moments of my life. Their preparation for secondary education was second to none and the small classes created strong, lasting bonds with friends and teachers alike. I'm still friends with people I met there five years on which is a real testament to the quality of life I experience there. A true community of good people.
