   Never would I be visiting this shop again. The staff are immature no clue on customer service. Rather than serving customers, the where to busy clowning around putting items down the back of servers top hitting each other and chatting about what they will do when they get out of work while a customer is waiting at the tills with others waiting behind. Got to till after waiting and watching these so called workers to be told no cash up stairs pay down stairs! Maybe put a sign up thay says that. Shocking maybe recruit new staff or re train the ones thay are there. Kids in a school playground behave better than these.

   Just visited Central Six Coventry store , was about to purchase a number of items, when we were approached by a member of staff, my children had innocently found a security tag in the pocket of some jogging bottoms, and one wondered what it was and the other put it back in the pocket, and walked away. I was unaware of this because I was looking at other items. When approached I felt the manner was intimidating and all I can assume is that he was he was accusing us of stealing or planning to steal. His manner was calm but I felt belittled and small and I accused him of being aggressive , actually he was passive aggressive and I feel so upset by this incident. We were literally on the way to the till but I really didn't want to buy the items after this . I can understand that the store must suffer from a lot of left , but NOT from us . Am so disgusted that I don't want to shop there again, have shopped there for years, and have found some staff to be very nice ...tonight was a different story.

   Be wary of the in-store return policy. Cash refund only offered if the item is faulty (statutory rights). That does not include if it's the wrong size or colour which then means they only provide a credit note/exchange. Even though a retailer (in-store) is not obliged to even provide a refund for any reason (other than being faulty) under consumer protection law, most retailers do allow cash refunds for any reason out of courtesy and to keep customers returning to the store. Sports Direct is one of those that don't have a customer centric mindset. Watch out.
