George's Fish and Chips in Leicester is a local takeaway great for its fish and chips, but their pizza is the real hidden gem. The crust is perfectly crispy, the sauce has a delightful tang, and they load on the fresh toppings. Really listen to the customer and make it exactly how you want it, offers a surprisingly amazing pizza experience that's a must-try for anyone in Leicester. Best pizza in Leicester! Staff are also very friendly.

My experience here was absolutely disgraceful! there was major hygiene issues no hair nets, no hygiene review certificate on the wall also blood injuries on skin which should’ve been properly tended to, in my opinion there needs to be a health inspections regularly to insure the health and safety within the premises, meets the standards of the food industry. The food produced in the facility is tasteless and dry the chips where soggy and hard at the same time which doesn’t make senses also makes me wonder if they even have the correct qualifications to even run a business, when not being able to remember the correct temperatures to produce chicken, in this picture below it shows that the chicken was either undercooked or the practice of hot holding time exceeded longer then 2 hrs. The phrase “the costumer is always right” was completely dismissed, to them our opinions should matter although to them it made them cause conflict , in-fact also resulting into terrible customer service.

Had the George’s Special Pizza and the mixed kebab from George’s Pizza Fish and Chips, and honestly, both were spot on! The pizza was loaded with toppings, perfectly cooked with a crispy base and lots of flavour. The mixed kebab was generous too — tender meat, fresh salad, and tasty sauces. Portion sizes were great for the price. Staff were friendly and service was quick. Definitely recommend if you’re after proper comfort food!

This premises constantly changes owner so I have no idea how long this review will be relevant. Food is pretty good however allow yourself time as a lot of what they do is made fresh for the customer which is not a bad thing as long as you are not in a hurry. My real disappointment is with how they handle people's information. I contacted them once by phone to place an order. My number was then used for marketing I had not agreed to. In general a good chippy with friendly staff and decent food however thier marketing without prior permission is enough for me not to visit again.

Bunch of thieves! I ordered £20.00 worth of food from these clowns. 10 minutes later they called me and cancelled the order, saying they had no driver and they will refund me my money within 3 to 5 days. It's now been 7 days and still no refund. Not happy! why would they accept a delivery order if they knew they had no driver's. I had a feeling that they weren't going to refund me so now I'm just going to have to pay them a visit.
