Great food, we didn’t have to wait long to be served. Prices were great. Staff very welcoming and friendly. We’d come back again!
Really tasty Stifado. Melt in your mouth beef. Chicken souvalaki was very good. Best warm gluten free bread ever.
I went here a few weeks ago and coming back next week! I didn’t even mean to find this hidden gem! Was taking a walk around Stratford with my partner and I saw the name and loving Greece my eyes lit up! So we went straight in! Welcomed by a lovely lady, ordered a Stifado (my favourite Greek dish) and my partner ordered the Greek burger. We both absolutely loved the food felt like I was back in my favourite place in corfu! Now my local Greek restaurant is shut in Coventry this will now be my new favourite!
We had dinner here on one of the coldest nights of the year and where we sat had windows on 3 sides. I felt like my feet were going to drop off. The restaurant did have a plug in portable radiator, but unfortunately for me it was being used by other diners. The waiting staff were both very friendly and patient whilst we ordered, and again whilst we left, probably being the last few to leave. My meal was fine and cooked nicely. I thought there would be more roasted vegetables served with it, but no. Dessert was very sweet, and the cake not to my taste so I did not finish it. The restaurant was busy and atmosphere, other than temperature, was good. So if you enjoy Mediterranean cuisine and good service, El Greco would be a good choice to consider.
Been here quite a number of times. It's the place we dine our guests whenever we take them to Stratford-upon-Avon area. Superb dining, delicious food, generous portions, great atmosphere. Top favourites are the Kalamari, Kleftico and Moussaka.
Absolutely delicious food. We had the halloumi and spinach/cheese starter followed by Beef Stifado and Chicken Souvlaki. Cannot fault the portion size, the taste or the quality of the food. Absolutely delicious. Will most certainly be returning.
My husband took me here for my birthday and it was our first time eating here but it had been recommended to us by a Greek gentleman so we knew we needed to try it. Everything we ate was incredible and the food came out very quickly. The servers we had were all friendly and it was a relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant. We will happily go back again because we'd love to try the 22 dish mezze. Highly recommend El Greco!
Booked a table for dinner here while staying in Stratford, we decided to go for the mezze which was enormous! Great atmosphere, absolutely delicious food and the staff were really lovely, we were so stuffed we couldn't manage everything so we were provided with doggy bags so we could enjoy the rest the next day. A definite must when you're visiting Stratford and I would advise booking ahead, highly recommended!
