They had gluten free bread so opted for a bacon sandwich, it was ok but the bacon was barely cooked....the lady seemed to be on her own taking orders, making drinks and food so had to wait a while.
Great quirky cafe upstairs above art shop, only ever had Latte Coffee and Cake £6.95 ( Jan 2024). Pleasant attentive staff make my Dog and myself very welcome
Lovely quirky cafe, lots of art to look at, nice space, fab service and lots of options on the menu. My friend had blueberry cake which looked great, and I had rhubarb cake, which was nice but soggy at bottom with vinegar taste. The coffee was good and staff friendly and very helpful.
Love this place and been going there for years. Not only friendly staff and good food but the paintings that adorn the cafe are normally for sale as well. Nice arts and crafts shop downstairs as well.
A lovely bowl of homemade soup, with bread and butter, and croutons. Delicious. I was going to have a slice of cake to finish, but I was already full. The Art Cafe was an unexpected delight. I was completely unaware of it's existence until today. There are some quite steep stairs to get up there, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that they have a dog friendly area, but trust me, it's well worth a visit.
Home made menu. The BEST lasagne, lovely helpful friendly service. Unhurried. Feels relaxed, spacious and private.
Quite simply you have to visit this amazing cafe. The staff are so helpful and attentive. Our afternoon tea was absolutely delicious
We had a lovely afternoon tea today at The Art Café in Hinckley. Lovely freshly made food, choice of sandwich filling and bread, some warm savouries and nice tasty cakes. The staff was excellent and very accommodating, happily giving us a good choice of jams, plenty of tea and a nice clean highchair for my daughter. There's a special offer on at the moment, £9.99pp ('til end Aug 18). I recommend going, if you live in the area.
