I reached out to Electro Mend as I needed a replacement cord on my Shark hoover. I was able to drop it down straight away and it was repaired within the hour, with a few extras thrown in. Amazing service, will use again and will recommend. Thanks :)
Would not recommend at all. Golden Retriever puppy chewed cable of two month old Shark hoover. Took it here to replace cable. After a lecture that these hoovers are really bad for the environment (suppose a Dyson one is OK since they specialise in these?) was told it would be expensive and at least £50 to fix. Thought that was OK price, but when I asked for exact price was told it depended on what else was wrong. I had emptied the container but not cleaned the filter before taking to the shop. Told me I needed a complete new filter system, and wouldn't know about the motor etc until he looked at it. Tried to tell him the hoover itself was fine, had just been used, but cable left out and dog had chewed. Seemed he wanted to add on a lot of additional charges! Asked for just the cable to be changed, only to be told 'his time was precious'. Obviously didn't want the job unless he could add lots of additional charges to make it worth it. Shame when you try to support local businesses but they try to rip you off!
Can’t recommend Justin enough! So helpful, so friendly, knows his stuff & really honest with his advice. Priced more than reasonably. My Shark hoover now works better than when I bought it! Thank you!
Took my cordless, stick Dyson to Elecro Mend and so glad I did. Brilliant customer service from Justin, who explained clearly what the problem was and how he could fix it. It was like new after he'd fixed it. He also gave advice about general care, to prevent further problems arising. A proper old-school business focused on customer care. Well worth the journey to Barry (some lovely shops and cafés on the road too). I highly recommend Justin and Electro Mend.

Absolutely brilliant experience! Not only does the owner know absolutely EVERYTHING there is to know about hoovers but he even gave our hoover a full wash and put in a lovely scent booster so it smells DIVINE when we hoover. I couldn't recommend Electromend more. The owner is AMAZING!
Called to ask advice about getting a new head for my Dyson, as impossible to find the right one online. Advised probably just needed a clean and service. Dropped off and picked up the next day, excellent friendly service and now works like new. Highly recommend Electro Mend.
Come to purchase bags for my hoover didn't have the time of day to only make a £1 when he had repairs to do that's £200 (his words) so went to argos and just bought a new hoover.
Justin is amazing. He is a lovely gentleman who goes above and beyond to meet the needs of his customers. I always find him pleasant and welcoming. His prices are very reasonable too. Never go anywhere else. This man is a gem.
