My heat shield came loose and was making a right noise. I popped in without an appointment close to closing time and without any fuss the part was removed. Topping off the fantastic friendly service I wasn't charged. There are some good people in this world still. Thank you.
I left my house and upon getting onto the motorway I could hear a loud clattering sound coming from underneath my car. A small inspection showed the undertray had come loose and I really needed to continue my journey. I came off the motorway and started heading back home and noticed Cars Garage open on a Saturday. I parked up and was greeted by the staff and I explained what had happened. The staff took a quick look and said they would move their own car and pop it on a ramp and fix it. 10 minutes later fixed and I was able to continue my journey. I offered the staff some money and insisted he take it but he refused to do so saying he would not charge for a quick 5 minute fix. It made my Saturday and chances are I will probably come back for my next MOT or any other needs as clearly they know how to deal with customers. It is hard to find a garage you can trust, but Cars Garage really is one if those rare gems that bucks the trend. I've had a few things done on my Mazda 3 now (all completed too an excellent standard) but it started with an engine warning light that two other garages had messed me around with. However at Cars it felt like it became a personal mission for them to diagnose and fix the issue. Which they did, in a short time, and at a fair price. Since then, they are my go to garage for anything major or minor. Friendly, knowledgeable, well priced and great customer service from reception through to mechanics.

Second time using this garage and they've been great! Each time staff were friendly and helpful , they listened to my rambling try to explain the problem and sorted it! Service was prompt and well done. They are covid instruction on the door to the office, i wore my masks they have a full built in screen they stand behind to talk to you, the card machine is situated outside the screen on a separate table for easy use. They disinfectant spray your key after you've given it to them and then before they give it back. I felt covid-19 safe here.
Absolutely 1st class service and workmanship. All at a very reasonable price. It's easy to see why they are in the top 1% in the good garage scheme. Staff are friendly and efficient and most of all approachable. Their honest and open and I feel confident of brilliant service every time without the worry of being ripped off.
