    Many happy hours spent here in good company. A traditional backstreet boozer with the addition of very popular music nights. It's now been sold to a third party and is closed pending the arrival of the new owners. It's future is uncertain so send positive vibes. We live and die in these pubs. Edit: If you think the New Inn should host live music, please like.

    I’ve been to The New Inn attending a few open mic nights and watching a couple of live bands and have had a really good night each and every time. It has a great atmosphere, a nice cosy little pub with super friendly customers and the hosts are great fun too. The drinks are reasonably priced, a lot cheaper than city centre prices. I would definitely recommend a visit especially on an open mic night, you don’t need to be able to perform you can get an evenings fab entertainment watching and meeting local artists and talent for free.

    Been to a couple of open mic nights here and it's really good night. Bar staff are nice and friendly. Drinks are nice and cheap. The people are all really nice. The people running the open mic night (flat badger) are great, really friendly, welcoming and encouraging to everyone! Would definitely recommend!

    I had a few really good nights at this traditional working man's pub. Good beer, great music, live bands, open mic, friendly hosts and guests. I'm from Australia but they made me feel like a local, fantastic, loved every minute.
