   How can drink prices go up nearly £2 more a round in 3 weeks ? ? Came here for a pint of guinness and 175ml white wine 3 weeks ago was under £9 for them both. Went in this weekend and same drinks £2 dearer !! Plenty of other pubs around so wont be back here

   Since this place has reopened under new management the pub is so well run, staff are warm and welcoming, food is great,prices are really good and the pub itself is lovely and clean,been in a few times and always been met with a fantastic standard of service, 100% recommended a visit you won't be disappointed

   My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at The Aardvark over the weekend. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was inviting and cozy, setting the perfect tone for the evening. The food was nothing short of exceptional — every dish was bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. We genuinely enjoyed every single bite. It’s rare to find a place where the quality of the food is matched by such friendly and attentive service. Whether it was the appetizers, mains, or dessert, everything exceeded our expectations. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommended!

   The Aardvark is a nice public house to visit. It is well laid out and quite spacious. There is a good selection of wines, beers and spirits. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Sports TV is part of what's on offer and there is an immense screen at one end of the bar area. There is also a games room which has two pool tables. Street car parking is close to the pub and it is free! Go on, give The Aardvark a try!

   Neat pub off the main road. Had live karaoke going which I’ve yet to find anywhere else in the UK, so that was entertaining to say the least. Nice selection of beers, only 2 bartenders but they did a good job tending to the masses. Plenty of seating to host larger groups which was nice, wasn’t as crammed in as other pubs around. Never tried the planet ale before it was crisp and refreshing!

   No ales on. Prices a bit steep, but then it is the City. Venue ok, plenty of screens. Decent vibe. Only 1 person serving each time we visited but got served quickly enough. No lemons for the girls Vodka and tonic.

   Managed to park at the front. Reserved a table at 7pm menu very reasonable with plenty of choices including vegetarian and vegan dishes.

   A nice pub with a pool table, TVs and a decent menu with reasonably priced food. But I must say the portion of chips served with the burgers are very small. And they seemed to have forgotten the spring onion on the chicken wings. But even though they were very tasty and at a good price too. Friendly staff and wide range of customers from students to OAPs.
