   Great hidden gem of Leamington Spa. Good pool table (50p). Went in on a Saturday night in the summer and it was nice and quiet so we settled in, played a few games of pool, hit the fruity and chatted with the landlord Cav. Lovely lad and very reasonably priced drinks. Beer garden is massive and place is just a friendly vibe. Definitely get yourself here if you like a friendly local pub. Support these kind of places rather than those breweries - this is how pubs are supposed to be. Will definitely be returning when I come to Leamington Spa.

   Hidden gem close to the centre Leamington, pubs close to the town centre usually don’t have too much garden space, but the bowling green has a great outside space. Friendly staff and dog friendly too, would recommend:)

   Shame I called in here last evening at about 8 o'clock with my friend who lives around the corner. Summer Sunday evening and unfortunately the young girl said as we walked in the door we are closing . Only in this country on a summer evening this would happen.?? Strange you think these pubs want to encourage people in not out. Never mind plenty more places to go in Leamington.

   It was early afternoon Bank Holiday Monday when I visited. Apparently they were open earlier than usual so it was quite. I was met with a very warm welcome from the lady behind the bar and also from some (I assume) locals sitting outside in the sunshine. A nice experience, thank you.
