Amazing service from Carla and Micheal for breakfast today. Me and the partner enjoyed it so much and are now stuffed! We will be returning soon, thank you again!
What a lovely place to eat - we had a celebration for Christmas and it was 5* service throughout. Carla was brilliant and serving us food and all was given to the correct person (hard in our large group) and all was correct. Food was delicious and portion size was incredibly good and what great value. Carla and the kitchen staff on shift this morning are a credit to you! Merry Christmas!
We came for a Christmas breakfast meet - there was 14 of us and it was brilliant service and food. Huge shout out to Carla and the kitchen staff working on 20th December - impeccable in every aspect, quick service, all food was hot which it difficult with breakfast and all requests accommodated for. Top staff and a perfect morning! Thank you so much!
Nice that on this occasion they had a limited selection of guest ales - demonstrates they know a little more about storing and preparing beers than just hooking it up to "the gas". A great local in Coventry. Lovely, grand, 1930s architecture on the outside and booth seating inside. Sports TV to distract your taste from lager.
I've been waiting for more than 40 minutes for not any good gyros with a couple of fries. I wish I had gone Wetherspoons instead. Even any bossman would have better food than that a have been served here.
Typically we go there for breakfast and lunch. Always getting good service and food. Today, it was a total disaster. Our order took 45 min to make. Jacket potato, fish and chips and vegetables lasagne. No apologies or nothing for the food being late. Few customers cancelled their orders and left due to how long it was taking to make their food. The vegetables lasagne came with HAIR in it. No reaction or acknowledgement. Just asked if we wanted refund or new order. The deal was 2 meal for £10.50, but was only given £3.10 refund for the lasagne. What a shame, local pub turning into shambles. No customer service or care like before. PEOPLE BE AWARE OF THE FOOD. These 'accidents' are happening a lot these days.
This really wasn't a great experience unfortunately. Food was so late to table yet barely warm when it made it. None of our party finished their meal as it just wasn't pleasant. Service was slow and staff seemed disinterested. We won't be returning. Considering same chain/menu, expected similar to the Nugget just down the road but the Wallace is far below their standard.
Went to the wallace for food this evening and had a very pleasant experience. The food was good, arrived quickly and hot. The staff are amazing especially Carla who was serving us. She really does go above and beyond to make sure her customers are happy. Nothing is too much for her. Thank you!!
I stop her once a week for a quick drink with friends and the service is always incredible slow. There is a large bar with multiple tills but often one person serving and a large queue and then staff disappear in the back. Pub is fine, atmosphere good, seem to be a lot of people eating, I haven't. But don't expect to be served quickly
